Mzunguu Safari Lodge — Hotel in Arusha

Wonderful lodge near Arusha National Park and close to Kilimanjaro International Airport

The rooms were quite large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, the food is fantastic and the grounds is gorgeous. Each room had a different theme and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Perfect Start for Tanzania

We stayed two nights in Mzunguu Safari Lodge after arriving at 4 a.m. at Kilimanjaro airport, and this was a perfect start into our vacation. We had pre-booked that the room would be already available, and this worked well: when arriving at the lodge, service staff was already waiting for us with the keys and helping with luggage, so that we could sleep for a few more hours before enjoying our first breakfast in Africa. The Lodge consists of nicely furnished and very clean. They are located in a with flowers and lots of different birds, and a central area with wonderful view of Mount Meru. Food was surprisingly good, we had one day the daily menu and the second day outside BBQ, both times very tasty and nice service. The Lodge is closely located to Arusha National Park (around 15 min drive) and about 30 min from the airport resp. the town Arusha, and therefore a good starting point for getting used to Safari feeling. We could not have been happier with the warm welcome provided to us by Angela (manager) and her staff. Angela booked excursions that were second to none. We went to hike the waterfalls at nearby Mt. Meru, and then we all went to a lake to enjoy some excellent Tanzanian food. We discussed our separate cultures and ways of living. This was the true and authentic Tanzanian experience we came here for. We came as guests and left as friends The accommodations were great, and the food is excellent. Best of all it is one of the closest lodges to Kilimonjaro airport. This makes the perfect place for before and after a safari. Cant wait to come back next year....

Real enjoyed my tour and visits, at the great and attractive place went Ngorongoro which was my biggest wish, then Serengeti drive, then finished with great walk at the village and hiking in the great and amazing rainforest near the facility.||Planning to have a next visit in Tanzania, likely hiking mountain Kilimanjoro expeditions as soon.....and Mzungu Safari Lodge and Tours Safari , are the great host....not only for their side location being amazing, but their charges being affordable and satsfied stay, great rooms that brought me to the essence culture of Africa and the natural and amazing food.||Thanks so...
