Absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect, and we were greeted with warm hospitality, refreshing watermelon juice and cool towels were the perfect welcome after a long day on safari. The rooms are comfortable, with spacious and well-appointed bathrooms. The grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful, lush garden atmosphere. The on-site restaurant serves delicious meals, both dinner and breakfast were excellent. A wonderful retreat and highly recommended!

This is fantastic spot. The dinner was amazing-we asked for local food and they were more than happy to make it for us. The room was gorgeous and the staff wonderful.

Twelve of us stayed here while on safari. This is my personal review. We stayed here two nights. ||||The room (tent) was great The bed was just lovely when first arriving. ||||I saw some reviews about the hot water. I would say that the hot water everywhere we stayed in Tanzania had some weirdness. In this case it came out too hot and you had to wait for it cool down - which they explained to us beforehand. Then it was fine. ||||Other reviewers have talked about interacting with the Hadzabe and Datoga, which was wonderful - but one of the things I remember most about this region is how the children would smile and wave to us in our jeeps. That was not usually true in the Masai regions. ||||The food was really good and the service was great. I'm not sure how they can whip up dinner for 12 people not knowing exactly when we will return from touring but they do. The dining room to me was quite beautiful. ||||The staff is friendly and happy to help. ||||Monkeys may run across the roof of your tent sometimes or the neighbors' tent and...

We stayed only one night but found the camp to be more than adequate & it exceeded our expectations. The food was very good. The pasta served at lunch was the best we had in Tanzania. The dinner of baked chicken was also very good. We took a boxed breakfast with us, but they did have coffee & cake for us before we left on our early morning visit to the Hadzabe bushmen. I had a kitchen tour & am amazed at the foods they prepared in such a primitive space. The tents were large, beds comfortable, hot water plentiful & a flush toilet was an unexpected luxury! In such a remote area it is common for battery charging to be done in the reception area and for the time on generators to be limited. Though we had flashlights we were escorted to our tents after dark. We have travelled in 14 countries in Africa & this was more luxurious than many places we have stayed. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Cold beer & South African wine was available for an extra charge as is standard practice. I would definitely stay here again & highly...
