From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. “Joe” and his staff are gracious, attentive, and predict your every need. The tents are on high platforms and spotlessly clean - believe the photos! Amazingly, while surrounded by the wild, there was not a single bug or pest in our tents or in the common areas. Each meal was delicious and the pic on lunch they packed for us was spectacular. We were there for my birthday and not on,y did they surprise us with a gorgeous cake, they also serenaded us and enjoyed a joy-filled dance party. Of all the hardworking staff, “Jackson” was most impressive. He gets up at 5am each day to start heating the water that he carries- 20 liters at a time to any guest that wants to, any time of day. Always with a smile and patiently explaining the process. He’s also the guy who comes around to prepare your tent for the night - again always with a smile and a kind word remonding us to stay inside … which proved astute as a young lion walked through the camp one night while we were safely in our tents! Families of dik-diks, gazelles, giraffes, guinea fowl, starlings and turtle doves also visited while we were there. We were booked to stay here through Safari2Go and didn’t know what to expect. Our 2 day stay here was truly amazing!! The staff was extremely sweet and attentive to our needs at all times!! The rooms are extremely well kept and not a fly or bug in sight. Sleeping in the tents was an incredible experience! One night there was a zebra near our tent and the following night there was a small pack of hyenas. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We stayed in a hotel before this at the Masai Mara and this experience was 10x better!! Highly highly recommend! Also, our game driver Noel was truly exceptional. We drove into the middle of the migration and had lunch right amongst the thousands of wildebeests and zebras. It was a memory I’ll never forget.
