Patamu Restaurant & Lodge — Hotel in Arusha

I can't speak for the rooms having never stayed here, but the food is really good. Give yourself time for a wait since the food is made-to-order, but it's worth it. I'd recommend the chicken "vuruga" with chipsi. It's chicken chipsi mixed up with a very flavorful and somewhat spicy sauce a bit like a red curry.

They are far enough off the main drag to avoid the noise of the road and loudspeakers in town, but not too far to be inconvenient. There's a good outdoor eating area, a full bar, lots of seating both near the bar and in the surrounding grounds under cabana-like shelters. The staff is friendly. There's a pretty big TV in the bar area where they show soccer, news, or whatever...

I had a wonderful time here, I spent my 2 nights with my guests, i felt lucky to receive new year at this place.

the service was really good, clean rooms and comfortable , the staff did their best to make sure that our stay is more enjoyable, though they were few compared to the guests they had.

I recommend this African style lodge with the great location with the best service with the very attractive prices, you wont find nice lodge with cheap rates around...

Ok...The food was decent but the breakfast is somewhat to be desired.My God, they don't serve bacon?!?! I think the cook made one plate at a time; one item at a time. One item would be piping hot and the rest ice cold. Spanish omelet was tasty!! At night, it can become quite noisy as it turns into a "hang out" spot and the chain smoking is also unwelcomed for guest staying in the hotel rooms...
