Design is brilliant, and pool is nice; the tents have a nice view on a farmers valley which is on the far edge of Ngorongoro conservation area, no wildlife to spot. Tents spacious with a good bathroom. Very helpful staff.|Breakfast decent; for those on FB they can compose their own lunchbox. What kills the quality however are maintenance and dinner:|* The railing of the tent verandah has a sign 'do not lean', not handy with e.g. kids|* Even less safe are the worn-out tent zippers, one of us fell as the broken zipper pin clung itself to her shoe|* Not to talk about the verandah furniture; the third sitdown of a 85 kg tourist made it collapse (broken rusted metal), happily without further human damage||Having a buffet dinner with soup, a small tempura as 2nd course, small dessert and then salad with mains sounds good. But the main course is ONE, exactly ONE, meat with veggie sauce and then rice. Ridiculous!||Seems like pennywise poundfoolish management, turning a former 3-star into a 1-star...

And the dogs..the call and response of wild dogs (one sounded like it was parked next to my tent) kept us all up until about 3 am. The tents were not as nicely constructed as other camps we went to and there wasn't the personal services we had like at other camps such as putting down the mosquito nets and closing the tents (I can't speak to the cost/level of service comparisons between accommodations because I didn't book but the costs of the different hotels booked by the tour company were...
