Wildlife Residence — Hotel in Arusha

We really enjoyed our stay at Wildlife Residence. ||There was a great family atmosphere, so that we immediately felt like home. The residence is not large and is estimated to be available for max 5 families, what was very pleasant for us😄. Our room was very spacious and decorated in warm colors, the beds are large and spacious area with sink and shower. |We had a beautiful terrace with a great green meadow, where we always had visits from zebras and impalas in the evening (about 3 meters from the terrace). |The residence is located in an enclosed and secure area where many animals roam freely, especially antelopes, zebras, wild boars and others. |The team was very friendly and attentive, leaving nothing to be desired. In the afternoon, we were able to relax in the pool and were constantly spoiled with fresh juices and roasted nuts 😋😋😋😋|Dinner and breakfast were also very tasty, even the packed lunch was lovingly prepared. Upon arrival we were greeted and taken to the large sitting area in the main house, overlooking the lodge’s grounds.|We checked in with the Manager, who before asking us to complete any forms or show us around, promptly informed us of the need to leave a tip when we were leaving, which unfortunately for some staff was the driver for their service/assistance. |Our bedroom was huge!! And I mean more than spacious, it was vast!! The bathroom well stocked and hot water was plentiful.|The food was very good, a la carte, well presented and sat on the terrace, a dining delight overlooking the water hole and gardens. The visiting animals, Zebras, Wildebeest, Gazelles, serving up a welcome surprise during the day and in the evening.|The bar staff were exceptional (unfortunately I cannot recall their names), but both the waitress and waiter were attentive and could not do enough for us.|We took advantage of the complimentary tour around the park which the lodge is situated in. Our stay at the the Wildlife Residence was the perfect start to our family safari adventure in Tanzania! After a slightly sleepless flight from Europe we were able to unwind and adjust to our new surroundings, which included grazing Impalas, Zebras and Wildebeest, as well and a very energetic and entertaining troop of monkeys, supported by the wonderful and attentive staff who so welcoming and warm. On our first day of two, one of the residence staff, Kelvin Mathias, took us on a walk around the estate and his knowledge of every animal and plant was truly amazing.
