A few main observations:||Pool is big, 4 ft deep on the shallow end and 7ft on the deeper end. However, loads of tiles have come off. The white grids around the pool have also come off at some places, and under them there is green algae. A kid tripped on one of the looose white grids and sooner or later, someone will trip on the holes.|Old, rusty parasol stumps are also left lying around. Noone seemed to see the danger in that.||The balcony rails from the restaurant are also not properly screwed in, the rails literally shake. It is so bizarre that they actually know that the balcony rails are loose, but they haven't done anything about them. ||I found the public bathrooms to be old, damp and not very clean or fresh-smelling.||What is crazy is that when there are no order requests, the staff are mostly hanging around doing nothing, when there is actually so much handy work they could be doing to make sure things are in order. Zero proactively whatsoever.||Food: Most things on the menu were not available. They also didn't have much in terms of wine, almost everything on the wine list was not available. Perhaps it's a good idea for the hotel to throw out the old menu cards and print out new accurate ones...?|Dinner plates and bowls were cracked and chipped. When we alerted them to this, no apology was given. The kitchen is also dirty, from counter tops to cockroaches.||Don't go to this place if you care about your health and want to have a relaxing time. The staff lack basic hospitality training. In other parts of the world, it is common practice to hire hotel staff because of their language skills. Here, some wait staff barely speak English. Which is fine, but a manager on duty should be making sure that staff with English skills are serving clientele that speak English.||I do not recommend this place as it currently stands. Rather go somewhere else to enjoy your hard earned money. I certainly will not return here until I hear that the entire place has had a full renovation. It is a beautiful property with a lovely design and amazing potential, in a wonderful location. I hope to see it resurrected and back to what it used to be back...

The hotel offered a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Hamza was exceptional—he was incredibly helpful, guiding us on where to alight from the bus and recommending places to visit in Dar es Salaam.||Rooms|The rooms were comfortable and equipped with all the essentials, including a functional air conditioner. They were simple but met basic expectations.||Food|We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast (B&B) plan and only had breakfast, which was quite basic. Unfortunately, the menu didn’t change throughout our stay, which was disappointing. Improving the variety and quality of breakfast would enhance the experience.||Pool|The pool needs significant improvement. It wasn’t very clean, and I was hesitant to use it due to concerns about hygiene and the risk of infections. Additionally, the changing rooms were in poor condition—perhaps the worst I’ve seen. This is an area that urgently requires attention.||Beach|While we didn’t swim at the beach, it was clean during low tide but less so during high tide, likely due to trash washing in from a nearby island. This issue seems beyond the hotel’s control.||Location|The hotel is quite far from most activities, so visitors should plan accordingly.||Overall|It was an average experience overall, with excellent service from Hamza standing out as a highlight. Some improvements, particularly to the pool, breakfast, and facilities, could make this hotel a much...

WARNUNG: NICHT BUCHEN! / CAUTION: DO NOT BOOKING!||||Dieses Hotel ist eine Katastrophe!

Bahari is a beautiful beach area. The rooms are all in 2 storey thatched round houses that look far more in keeping with the setting than anything else I have seen. The rooms are a good size with great facilities and really well thought out. They all have sea views with balconies that remain shaded throughout the day. AC is v good, wi-fi is good, lovely shower room with nice towels, lotions potions com toothbrush etc. Fridge in your room and rooms set ice if you want it. The grounds are gorgeous and very secure. 24 hr guards. The dining room is an amazing thatched structure. Food is great and varied. Anything Indian is pretty hot but everything is well cooked and fresh. Staff are friendly attentive and service throughout is efficient and well organised. Pool is next to the beach with a bar food service, shower and toilet facilities. Anything negative...it's too far from home to come every weekend.

It was a very great experience. We enjoyed it a lot. The beach was very clean, calm, safe, and long. The swimming pool is well maintained and has separate provisions for kids and adults. The pool water is very clean. The premise is fully green and well maintained. There is spacious parking there. The reception area is traditionally decorated and it attracts tourists. The hotel is also good. It provides local as well as international food and dishes. The seating arrangement is also nice that provides a sea view. We can enjoy Sunset from the hotel area. The room conditions are not good enough. It needs maintenance. We can go to stay there or we have to pay entry fees of TZS 10,000 per adult and TZS 5,000 per kid and spend a full day. Overall it was nice to experience and we enjoyed it a lot.

Despite the disappointment of no go-karting, this hotel offers outsiders the opportunity to enjoy swimming facilities amidst a picturesque coastal setting. The entrance fee was 10,000 Tsh(Includes the access to the pool and beach). The accessibility for non-guests provides a welcoming atmosphere for locals and travelers alike to indulge in a refreshing swim while soaking up the seaside ambiance. However, a notable downside is the absence of go-karting facilities, which may disappoint those seeking additional recreational options. Nonetheless, with its beachfront location and swimming amenities, this hotel remains a desirable destination for those seeking a coastal retreat.
