Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge — Hotel in Ikoma

Just fabulous!

We had the most amazing time at Kubukubu! The rooms were great and the view from the balcony deserve a special mention. Especially at night where things get real. You can hear the animals AND see them just outside grazing. Oh what an experience! Everything was immaculately clean and maintained with great facilities. We absolutely LOVED the hot showers with the view.

The staff are great, from the desk to the chefs to everyone, nothing is too much trouble and they deliver a warm, genuine and friendly service from the heart. Special mention to Amina, Joice, Alex and the mama chef who were so kind to us. The hotel felt very relaxed with a lovely family feel which would explain why people regularly return.

The food was excellent, We had lunch packed so we don't miss our safari and beakfast was more than substantial with lots of choice. The highlight however was the dinner served after a long day. We thourougly enjoyed our meals.

In summary, we loved it! Arrived worn out and tired and left refreshed and relaxed having been so well cared for during the whole time. Thank you so much kubukubu and the team for looking after us so well, we look forward to...

Glamping at its best. Luxury beyond one's wildest imaginations, right in the midst of the grand Serengeti. Kubu kubu is situated on a hill, hence every which way you look you get the best views of the serengeti. Also the hotel is very rich in wildlife, we saw elephants, hyenas, and a Buffalo on our one night here. Unbelievable.

The food was great, the manager, Joyce, was so friendly and attentive. Even the masais (our night escorts) were so friendly. One particular masai named Joseph from ngorongoro was a great help to me with my toddler. Spoke English and never been to school. Amazing.

The room is so clean and full of life's luxuries. We came in July which is their winter, got cold and windy outside but our tent/room was very comfortable. Great views from the room and the outdoor shower. Nothing like a hot shower in the dark serengeti night under the stars while listening to the wildlife sounds. The thrill is next level.

My only complaint would be that the servers seemed rushed, which made us rush through dinner and we weren't able to enjoy the evening as we would have liked. But it definitely didnot ruin our stay. Thankyou Kubu Kubu, this was a...

Imagine waking up every morning to the sight of the grand Serengeti! This tented lodge is situated within the Serengeti and boasts beautiful views all round. We had an open air bathroom overlooking the plains which made you want to shower and contemplate life for hours on end. The rooms are spacious and beautiful.

The staff were all super friendly and always very helpful and professional. We were served by on both nights we were there and her customer service is simply amazing. The chef made us a special cake and all the staff celebrated with us as this was an anniversary getaway. It was a great surprise and we loved it!. All meals were included in the price.

The swimming pool is also a highlight with animals grazing in the near distance. Birds are everywhere around the lodge to serenade you. The food was enjoyable and we especially loved the BBQ night.
