Pumzika Luxury Safari Camp — Hotel in Ikoma

We stayed at Pumzika for two nights and loved the experience. On the first night, we had a lion behind the tent circling it and on the second night when we woke up, we had several animal footprints at the entrance to the tent. The camp is safe and there is no need to be afraid. Remember it's an experience! The structure itself is very good and even though we had a small problem in the bathroom during our stay, the team quickly acted and resolved it. This camp is such a gem. Everything is beautiful, comfortable and luxurious in the middle of the Serengeti, but the service is what sets this place apart. Everyone who works here is so so kind and full of joy. They were willing to sit with us and share their experiences while also catering to our every need. Es el alojamiento más salvaje en el que he estado y en el que más segura me he sentido!!!

Hemos estado dos noches en Pumzika, que se encuentra dentro del parque nacional del Serengueti y desde el primer momento con el cálido recibimiento que tuvimos sabíamos que estábamos en buenas manos.

Tecla es la “camp manager” del alojamiento, nos recibió con unos cánticos tradicionales, nos explicó varias cosas sobre el tented camp y después Samuel (uno de los chicos Masái) nos acompañó a nuestra tienda.

La tienda está totalmente equipada, la cama es muy cómoda y las sábanas no están húmedas (algo que es normal por el clima y que hemos sentido en otros alojamientos) pero nos ha llamado la atención. Tienes dos almohadas para elegir. Te dejan agua para lavarte los dientes. Está todo decorado al detalle y el ambiente es de ensueño.

Por la noche puedes escuchar los leones, las hienas… pero no te preocupes los masái están vigilando que no se acerquen demasiado, además te acompañarán en todo momento de camino a la habitación, así que puedes estar tranquilo.

Sin duda, el alma y el carisma de este lugar es Tecla que te recibe siempre con una gran sonrisa y con ganas de tener una buena conversación!!!!
