Goodtimewithfar House — Hotel in Kilimanjaro

We absolutely love Far’s place! We stayed 5 nights before our Kilimanjaro trek and one night afterwards. Not only is Far a wonderful human, he also knows all of the good places to eat and visit in and around Moshi. He arranged our visit to the Materuni Waterfall and coffee experience, which we would also recommend. He has lots of other tours and experiences that he can arrange, which we wanted to do but didn't have time. Even if you are not able to stay with Far, contact him for day trips and treks!

The breakfasts every morning were delicious. Far and Sauda are great chefs and Far also let us do a cooking class for dinner one night. We got to pick which Tanzanian dish that we wanted and Far took us to the market to get the ingredients and then showed us how to cook it! We loved sharing meals with some of the other guests too.

The beds were super comfortable and the water pressure was great. The location is nice and Far helped us get rides to the downtown area whenever we needed it.

Far's place felt like home away from home and we will definitely stay here again if we come...

I have never had such a wonderful experience with a homestay owner as I did with Far. He is genuinely committed to making your time in Moshi as enjoyable as possible. Far accompanied us on trips in and around Moshi, making us feel extremely comfortable and safe throughout our stay. I learned so much about Tanzania from him that I wouldn't have otherwise.

Far is always available to help with planning day trips, safaris, or even a hike up Kilimanjaro. His house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was one of the many highlights of our stay.

A pleasant place in a quiet area of Moshi, perfect for a few nights' stay. The guest house features several rooms, a kitchen, a cozy living room, and a veranda. There's also a spacious gazebo bar with a traditional thatched roof, where you can relax with a glass of wine, play board games, or just chill.

Far not only manages the comfortable house and serves breakfasts but also enjoys showing guests around the town. He can organize a tour to any interesting location in the area, from the waterfalls on Kilimanjaro to the national parks.
