The resort is in a rural location, surrounded by nature—trees, birds and other animals like bush babies can be seen within and around the premises.|The staff are friendly and quick to help. Internet was a huge problem for me in my room, so I’d sometimes work from the restaurant, which sometimes would get a bit uncomfortable because of mosquitoes. ||The room was very simple with not TV. During my stay, there were constant electricity outages which would often find me in the shower. The backup generator would take about 10-20 mins to pick.||During my stay, I had indicated to the manager and one of the staff that both my bedside lamps needed a change of bulb, and they promised to have it changed. Some bulbs in the room were also not lighting. Unfortunately, I left the place with the issue unresolved. ||The outdoor area was also very dark at night - and had no lighting. On my first night, I almost got lost trying to find my way to the restaurant as it was very dark and rainy…but a staff member spotted my phone light and helped me get to the restaurant.||The manager/owner (Abraham), however, was very friendly. He made sure I go transport to and from my area of business as I was there on...

We asked to see a menu they said they didn't have one and we should just ask them to make what we want....After they noted they didn't have the first 2 things we wanted, we ended up ordering chicken nuggets and french fries four our 2 year old.
Upon asking for the bill, we learned the nuggets and fries were 30K TZ schillings which is a ridiculously expensive price.
This place has a lot of potential but definitely lacking modern expectations like a menu, transparent and reasonable pricing, and...
Read moreWe arrived at West Kili House after a long day out and having been caught in a torrential downpour. It was a welcome sight to find our comfortable, extra-spacious interconnected family room with two enormous en-suite bathrooms (and hot power showers) set amidst a lovely green, neat and peaceful garden. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and caring. They brought our dinner meal to us to enjoy alfresco on our large verandah which saved us having to head to the dining room in the rain. After a restful night's sleep in our comfy beds, we enjoyed an abundant breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast and all sorts of tasty baked goods before heading off to explore Moshi for the day. Thank you, West Kili House, for your wonderful...
