JOHNSONS VILLAS — Hotel in Kilimanjaro

The place is great and you get the spectacular mountainous view of a bunch of Same's mountains. There's this feel like you are in the middle of the a bowl. It feels great indeed.

I loved it. But don't count on internet to work there. Cell phone receptions are poor, perhaps the mountains are in the way. So don't come here thinking you will use the internet here, router is outside in the open view but it is too weak to get into the room.

Clean and tidy rooms, but the equipment differs. Although some rooms from our group had an AC and a western toilet, others were left with a fan and a toilet-hole. Apart from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the whole compound offers a wide selection of food and drinks and two swimming pools. In general there’s nothing wrong with this place but I find the price to high for a more or less Tanzanian simple guesthouse with a nice garden and pool. The rooms are fine but a bit small. Food is of local standard but okay. There is a pool which is nice but the paving around it with slippery tiles which is quite dangerous.
