This is one trip we shall remember in a very long time. As it was a recommendation when we enquired about one of their other property and we are glad we decided to take the road trip.
The glamping experience was worth the long drive. Beautiful modern tents with an inside and outside bathroom...comfy and very clean rooms and this was important having travelled with the kids. Service team was exceptional especially Mathius from Restaurant/Bar Lounge and he ensured our meals were served promptly and with flair...wish we could share all the napkins designs...😊 Fred the manager on duty was there to welcome and we saw him frequently over the course of our stay.
We got to meet the chef on our last day and it was a joy to enjoy his hot meals.
Top location with a beautiful pool and views of Lake Manyara and the hills nearby.
Downside were the roads leading to the property - those are a nightmare and a danger to travel on especially during the rainy season..passed through open bridges and crossed a stream...😓 Roads half washed away and generally, not sure l will recommend a visit without a 4x4 vehicle or during these rainy season..hope something the government/TANAPA can work on as it's also a road leading to Lake Manyara National Park.
BUT.....on getting there...it was all worth it..and we could literally feel the city stress melt away in the midst of the quiet nature, bird sounds and clean mountain air.
A place once the roads are set, we would love...

The staff are Kindhearted and friendly. They always ask if you slept well.
There are no TVs or access to wifi from the rooms (at least the ones away from the bar). There is a portable AC and fan in the room.
Room 206 is right behind the bush where there are families of Baboons and monkeys. Sadly I spent only 2 nights. It was nice to wake up to the sun rise. It's perfect for nature lovers!
The waiters remember where you sat the day before and the food you previously ordered. Loved that! They work very hard. Food was a buffet style. There was no variety for breakfast. Dinner time had a little bit of variety but not much.
You can request for Tanzanian cuisine if you want. They charge for every drink not served on the buffet including bottled water.
I would love to come back here again for a time to...
