Tarangire Kuro Treetop Lodge is the best lodge we have stayed at on four safari trips to Tanzania and six safari trips in south and east Africa. The staff and service are world class. The warm reception we received was heart warming. The elevated luxury tents are incredible. We loved hearing the lions roaring at night. The property Manager, Jane, is a sweet lady who attends to every detail and makes sure the guests are well taken care of. Our waiter, Abdul, is a kind gentleman who provided us with outstanding service. Abdul surprised us with a private boma dinner on the last night of our three nights stay. Our guide and driver, Denis, was incredible. Denis enabled us to see herds of elephants, numerous prides of lions, herds of zebra, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, monkeys, impala, various antelope and even a rare leopard sighting. We recently stayed 3 nights at Kuro. We thought the park was spectacular and loved every minute of the game drives. We like bird watching and the park had a dazzling array of beautiful birds. The staff and accommodations at Kuro were equally awesome! Friendly, helpful, smiling, flexible and eager to please and assist with any needs or questions. The tent accommodations were beautiful and had great views. We heard lots of birds and couldn’t ask for a better experience. The food from “Mr. Delicious” and the kitchen crew was truly impressive and each meal was special. Abdul, our waiter, was very professional and provided top service at every meal.
