Good: rooms are huge and have great views, location is nice, restaurant food is delicious

Bad: noisy at weekends if you have your window open due to nightclub on site; breakfast is not good if you want non - cooked.... No yogurt, only one kind of cereal, no nuts or seeds, only sliced bread, no cheese or ham etc.

Worst: they don't accept Mastercard, charge 5% fee for visa card, don't allow advance payment via sites like Booking.com and don't allow credit card payment over phone (even though they're agreement with Booking.com is that they do accept these things). If you are traveling on business and you thought your employer has already paid, you are in for a nasty surprise as you are forced to pay out of your own pocket as the hotel refuses to accept credit card payment online by your employer or over the phone, and you have to pay cash if you don't have visa card. Sorting all of this out took two hours. It seems ridiculous that you can pay for drinks and snacks at a small local restaurant with international Mastercard without any extra fee or delay, but this big hotel cannot accept any online or phone payment or Mastercard at all.

Advice to management: Sort this out. You will lose business...

My stay started pretty ordinary... No soap, shampoo or fridge let alone coffee and tea. I was given shampoo eventually. Had a lovely meal...great to have a gluten free meal, price reasonable, drinks pricey and tricky to get 100ml milk for tea in my room...had to pay $3000 for a thermos I didn't really want but let it go. Next day i got a fridge! When I arrived I asked if I could pay after my last meal was told fine but then I got 3 phone calls pressuring me to pay it immediately...seriously!!!!.... so I did go down to pay then he didn't have change for me! It was lovely to get my washing done before I start my return flight to Australia.. .Reasonable price too. Hopefully airport shuttle bus organised properly... Grounds and environment are really lovely though there is nothing much for kids, what a shame. Did enjoy artwork and Christmas tree in restaurant...

Der erste Eindruck des Hotels ist ordentlich. 2 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.

Love this hotel in Mwanza! The staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are very spacious, clean and contain everything you need (incl coffee/tea amenities). The pool and poolbar are great places to relax and enjoy. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of Tanzanian and European food. The restaurant, especially Indian dishes, serves delicious food. During the weekends it is possible to hear some sounds from the club down below, but to me it was never disturbing. During the week it is usually very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and you can easily go for a walk during the day. It is situated on the hills of Isamilo, which makes the view from the rooms amazing!

Very nice hotel. You can stop by just to swim or eat without sleeping over. Beautiful surrounding. Good customer service. The food was not expensive and it was very tasty. However, if you want to spend time there a big fee is charged but you can stay as long as you'd like.
