Ngonga Beach Resort — Hotel in Ngonga

We stayed here for 1 night as a grouo of 7 (5 adults and 2 toddlers).||Not a hotel you stumble across as it is really far from a main road.||When we checked in we were the only overnight guests as it was low season so were able to negotiate on the price as we wanted 2 bungalows (each had 2 double ensuite rooms and a small kitchen with full amenities plus a small seating area). They had mosquito nests round the beds but no cots available.||||We were shown around and there were also tnets available which were basic but clean with toilet and shower facilities at a reasonable price.||||Food options were limited to chicken or fish at lunch and dinner but it was cooked fresh and the breakfast was really yummy with lots of options.||||The beach was clean with swings in the water(so much fun) and a playground for the kids.||||The staff were all friendly and did their best to accommodate all of our needs.||||Overall a really nice local resort worth a visit as it will only get better with time as they are still in the middle of renovating. Wonderful new resort close to the beach. The bungalows are well equipped have a lot of space and large beds. There is a nice beach bar and a restaurant. There you can eat delicious meals and get a rich breakfast in the morning. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. The beach is a bit far away and invites only partially to swim.||Unfortunately the resort is a bit far away from everything and in the evening partly no staff is visible or attainable anymore. This is a bit uncomfortable especially because the bungalows are not really safe. In addition, a couple known to us was robbed at night inside the room only a few days...

We visited Ngonga Beach Resort with my family back in 2022 and were very suprised to find this amazing hotel in the village of Kyela near a lake Nyasa literally !. The Hotel is near the beach , the rooms are clean to good standard, the food was good, complimentary breakfast. I am very sure in the whole area of Kyela, Mbeya this is one of the best hotel there .
