From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel comfortable and taken care of. The check-in procedure was smooth and efficient, and I was impressed by the attention to detail in the lodge's decor and amenities.

During my stay, I had the opportunity to experience a game drive, which proved to be an unforgettable adventure. The knowledgeable guide provided fascinating insights into the local wildlife and ecosystem, and it was clear to me that the lodge places a high value on conservation and sustainable tourism.

I would love to agree with all the 5 star reviews, I read prior to choosing this lodge as our choice of accommodation, but I simply cannot. Our rooms were not prepared adequately, they sadly did not look like the photos shared by the other reviewers, I highly doubt that the bedsheets were changed. The staff was completely unprepared for our arrival, from all perspectives, we were struggling to communicate with them, when I tried to enquire some information about breakfast my question was met with silence and the staff exchanging glances between them. Regarding the food I am not going to repeat what the other reviewers already mentioned. There was no electricity which was mentioned before as well, the room became suffocating in the middle of the night it was unbearable. Truth is the place has a lot of potential, it could be a very nice accommodation, it probably could be like the way it is marketed on instagram but it is not. You can see that someone had a great idea when building the establishment, the design of the rooms fits the safari aesthetic, there is a pool and so on, but there is a serious lack of maintenance that diminishes the quality of the services. I wholeheartedly hope that, in the future something great can be created in there so the place will not be wasted potential, but that needs a lot of care and maintenance. We recently had the pleasure of visiting Nyerere National Park and staying at Selous Safari Lodge, and it was an incredible adventure. We flew from Zanzibar, which was a smooth and scenic journey, and upon arrival, we were greeted with warm hospitality from SELOUS SAFARI LODGE STAFF

One of the highlights of our trip was taking a boat safari in the park. It was amazing to glide through the waters, spotting wildlife along the banks, including elephants and crocodiles, giraffes,Antelope, zebras The experience was both relaxing and exhilarating, offering a unique perspective on the park's beauty.

Selous Safari Lodge was the perfect place to unwind after our adventures. The accommodations were luxurious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the lodge.
