Mkulu Hotel — Hotel in Ruanda

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean, and still the property has roaches. I saw less that 5 roaches, but it is what it is. There was a TV in the room, but there are only 3 channels. There is good wifi, but the room we stayed in was just outside the range. A restaurant is on the premises, however many items may not be available. We ordered roast chicken and chips, after being told other choices were not available... It was really dry, like leather. We ordered the only "fresh juice" available, and it was canned juice. There is a continental breakfast included when you stay in a "double bed" room available until 10a. The breakfast is limited but...

Mkulu was always a very good place to stay and whenever I was in Mbeya I would stay at Mkulu. My recent experience is different, the hotel manager is very unprofessional. I and my colleagues stayed in the hotel recently and there were things we were not satisfied with, when we approached the manager, he told us to move from the hotel and find another hotel, this is not the Mkulu I know.
