Nestled between white sands and the wild edge of Saadani National Park, this place feels like stepping into a real-life retreat. From the carved elephant door at arrival to breezy dome tents opening onto ocean views, every detail whispers intentional design and soulful style. The food was a real highlight, fresh, well-seasoned, balanced and honest, with locally sourced prawns, fish, and chicken that hit the spot after tranquil moments by the pool. Mornings drift by with ocean breezes; Taking afternoons for a boat ride up the Wami River, weaving past hippos, crocodiles, and wild birds!! I’m so happy I brought my binoculars :) As the sun falls a fire is lit by the local Maasai. A BBQ begins! Maasai rhythms turn into Tanzanian tunes, and before you know it, you've found yourself dancing under the stars, a genuine, and joyful experience. I found myself in the afternoons having a tea as I did my virtual work with the view of the ocean from the restaurant. The goodbye was something to remember warm, heartfelt and already had me planning my next visit! Maybe next a...

I recently stayed at Cterra Saadani Luxury tents, and honestly, it felt like I had accidentally stepped into a postcard. The view? Absolutely second to none. You know those pictures you see online that make you think, “There’s no way it looks like that in real life”? Well, it does, and then some.

The staff had a combination of people from various cultures (including my favorite Maasai who jump alooot!) and were the kind of friendly that makes you wonder if they’ve all been trained by your favourite grandmother just warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you.

Somewhere between the sunrise over the ocean and the golden light on the trees, I felt something strange… the long-forgotten photographer in me woke up. My camera roll is now 90% Cterra sunsets, 5% wildlife, and 5% me trying to take selfies without looking like I’m melting in the heat.

If you want a place that feeds your soul, fills your memory card, and makes you feel at home in paradise...

Staying at Cterra Saadani Luxury Tents was great idea. We had an amazing experience from thr moment we walked. As a family with three kids, I was initially concerned about safety and convenience, but it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The blend of thrilling safaris and the serene Indian Ocean was perfect.

The luxurious accommodations offered stunning views, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The safari was well-planned, and we got to see all the big animals. The bonfire at night, complete with dinner and a Maasai dance, was a magical highlight. An exceptional experience that was truly worth every penny! We will be...

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a warm smile – their hospitality truly made a difference. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed – definitely a 10/10. I slept so well every night! The food was also fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options that made every meal something to look forward to. Overall, I enjoyed everything about my stay. It was relaxing, enjoyable, and exceeded all my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable hotel experience!
