We are three French people who have traveled in East Africa. We stopped for a few days in Mawe Mawili to rest, and we had a wonderful time there. What we will remember: - the extreme kindness of all the staff working there and of the villagers around - the quietness of the place - the beauty of the landscapes - the exceptional location of the lodges, right on the water (at high tide) - the activities we could do (boat tour with fishermen, etc.)

Friendly staff. Location is amazing, although very rural. Located near a few small fishing villages. We stayed in the tents and were maybe a little overpriced, they didn’t quite live up to the photos online. Food was okay, not much choice but tasted good. Make sure to order in advance as everything is cooked from scratch. Beach on the doorstep which you have to yourself apart from a few locals walking...
