The room and the hotel is new. However, the walls are soo thin that we struggled to sleep all night as we could basically hear the guests from the next room keep us awake with their laughter, conversation and watching TV.
The pillows in the room were soo soft and the bed mattress was soo firm it made our sleeping experience very poor. We had to fold the soft pillows in half just to try and make them slightly comfortable. All this on our first night at this hotel. Especially when we had to wake up early for our Safari excursion. We woke up at 2:30am and left the hotel at 4am to get to the airport. With little or no sleep.
We informed the hotel that we wanted to move rooms but they failed to help us with a viable solution. Asked the manager to ring me but despite making countless calls to the reception no one got in touch. As they probably didn’t see us as priority.
Countless other issues. Hair dryer not working in the bathroom. Faulty hair dryer.
