We are staying here for one night. When we arrived we could park our car immediately on the free parking space. A guy with a golf cart picked us up with our luggage and drove us to the reception (actually it is just 100m we could as well have walked). Check-In was easy and fast, only a few minutes later we were in the Deluxe room on the 8th floor with a little view over Lampang. Everything was clean and the bed comfortable, yet a bit hard, which is typical for Thailand. A/C was working without too much noise and no condense water dripping out in the room. GOOD!||The curtains are rather thin so you will wake up with the first light at 6am. 7am is the breakfast which was included in the room price. The breakfast is about 80% asian (my Thai husband said it tastes good) and 20% western with some toasts, butter, jam and fruit. I think this is a very good experience and we would stay here again if we visit Lampang again.||The hotel owner imposes a strict "no-alcohol" policy. I like it because it keeps away problems. What I do not like is that it is imposed because the owner is muslim. It is not nice to impose your belief's peculiarities on...
Read morethe location is good in terms of accessibility .few eateries, seven eleven ,lotus fresh all within steps. the room itself was fine but the bathroom needs attention for cleaning and repair. the floor gets flooded every time The most troubling conditions of this hotel is the lobby staffs. their looks are like as if they don't want you there. every time I pass by, they hardly look at you just to even say hello. They all have "I hate my job" attitude except one Korean speaking girl. the heavy set one is the most troublesome one. he or she questionably woman but heavy male voiced staff in the afternoon is so bad ,after the first meeting, didn't want to ask him or her anything.Had a lizard in my room and wanted to change room no sorry no explanation nothing. very stiff and impolite. angry look all the time. but I saw him smiling with locals just one time. only one time the staffs hardly smile at customer not just us but to many locals. I guess this is just the way they are. not recommended to foreigners as thus hotel is mainly for local Thais.language barrier can be stressful .my first time here and will...
Read moreWe took the whole family here for New Years and couldn't be happier. The hotel is clean and modern and seems high quality considering the price. The rooms are bright and airy thanks to the large windows and the fact that this building is the tallest in the neighborhood. Every room has an unblocked view, some with a mountain view. The brightness of this hotel extends to the common area; the hallways are open to the outside, the restaurant is partially outside, even the stairwell is sunny owing to the big windows at all the landings. I don't think there's a dark spot in this hotel and that gives it a lively, fresh feeling that I really appreciated.
The only drawback I can think of is that there is absolutely nothing to do in the area around this hotel. There's a hospital, a school, and some government buildings. The rest is just houses. You'll have to take a car if you want to go see the sights. They can call a horse carriage to the hotel though, so...
