I stayed at the color living hotel whilst getting some dental work completed, and whilst it's not a hotel id stay at if i was a tourist wanting to explore bangkok city (it's quiet a distance away), it was perfect for my needs.||The rooms were of a very generous size, with the room split into three sections. First section been the walk in closet with a good sized clothes hanging area, and this included the room safe.||Next area was the living area with the bed, tv, mini bar fridge and tea/coffee supplies.||And the third area was the bathroom which you could close of to the rest of the room.||The bed was quiet large, and mostly comfortable but was a bit lumpy (but not enough to be uncomfortable).||The hotel had a pool, but was in a weird location that meant walking to another building on the block to use.||The hotel restaurant was this hotels shinning star. All the food items we ordered were absolutely delicious, with the all you could eat seafood buffet been one of the best I've ever been too (inc in buffet: prawns, oysters, mussles, clams, salmon (cooked to order), fish, roast meats, curries, rice, fruits, chocolate fountains, ice creams and custurd cups).||||The actual hotel lobby was clean and well laid out, but although petty, reading all the "Dont do" signs plastered on the doors and walls of the lobby isnt exactly what a visitor wants to read when first walking into a hotel (no smoking, no loud talking, no eating or drinking of items from outside, no certain fruits ect).||||Check in was efficient and quick, with the preferred room I requested when initially booking the room been given.||||Will stay here again when in this area of...
Read moreI stay in the hotel "itself" before, it's very nice, clean, large toilets & strategically located.||||So, I recommend our group of friends to stay there recently. When we checked in, we are being allocated to another place at the back alley of the hotel. It's not even connected with the hotel. We need to walk out of the hotel, go round the side walkway and not to mentioned being caught in rain & shine. The hotel picture is deceiving. I ask for a change but the reception says we booked through another party ie. agoda & expedia which is cheap. We need to top up almost double the price if we want to stay in the hotel itself. Honestly, the price we pay is about the same for hotel in the surrounding area and almost the same I paid on my 1st time stay there. ||||I believe they used to be good but because a lot of booking, they open up another "accommodation" which is not a hotel at all.||||If you stay inside the hotel itself, good place to stay. If...
Read moreVisiting Bangkok for KMS course. This hotel was an excellent choice, only 13 minutes from the Kingdom Hall. The outside belies the inside. Outside it's a huge blue block that looks like any other apartment building in Bangkok. But step inside and it's a different story. A large marble reception, restaurant to the right and breakfast room to the left. The rooms are very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. I had a walk-in wardrobe and a spacious bathroom with a wide sliding door - excellent access for disabled people. There was a bathtub with lashings of hot water. In the room was a huge panel TV on the wall. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, lots of fresh food and vegetables and lots of choice. Breakfast was good too. Around the area were many convenience stores and a lot of street food. The room was quiet, not affected by the busy main roads 50 metres away. Altogether, for a tad over 1,000 baht, it was excellent....
