ห้างหุ้นส่วนจำกัด ราชพฤกษ์ กรุ๊ป 2007 — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

After having done the Mae Hong Son loop, from Chiang Mai via Highway 107 and 1095, then back via Highway 108, I needed somewhere to stop before going to Doi Inthanon the next morning. I had turned onto Highway 1009 with the intention of finding a hotel somwehere. At first I found a nice looking place set in a bit of a tropical setting, but I found their prices to be inflated and their beds dirty and containing bedbugs! So I continued on Highway 1009 and found the Ratchaphruek 2007 Hotel on the right hand side. At first I wasn't sure that it was a hotel as it didn't really have any English writing, but at reception I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who had spent time in Canada and knew English well. || The hotel itself isn't really suitable for a stay in Chiang Mai city itself, as it is in the small town of Chom Thong, which is about 55 kilometres from Chiang Mai. Nevertheless for my purposes it was perfect. Doi Inthanon is up the road.|| The superior room which I took for 450THB was new and clean, with the usual 3 star amenities. There was a restaurant attached to the hotel, as was car parking. A Thai Breakfast was also included in the room rate (finally somewhere that doesn't give me imitation bacon with eggs but a more traditional breakfast from the country I am visiting!). The grounds were generally well kept, and I was really quite impressed by this hotel. เราเข้าพักไปถึงโรงแรม เชคอินประมาณ 3 ทุ่ม เข้าห้องไป เตีย งและของใช้ดูโอเค มีทีวีให้แต่ไม่ได้เปิดดู เพราะตั้งใจว่าจะนอนเร็ว เพราะต้องตื่นเช้าเดินทางไปดอยอินทนนท์ อาบน้ำ ห้องน้ำไม่สะอาดนัก เหมือนไม่ได้ทำความสะอาดหลังจากแขกรายก่อนออก ที่แขวนฝักบัวแตก น้ำอุ่นทำงานช้ามาก น้ำเย็นมากเพราะเป็นฤดูหนาวด้วย ก็ทนๆอาบไป เสร็จตั้งใจจะนอนทันที ล้มตัวลงนอนฟูกแข็งมากกก ก ไก่ล้านตัว อันนี้โอเค คงเป็นไปตามราคาห้องพัก แต่อันที่ทำใจไม่ได้คือ นอนๆ ก็ได้ยินเสียงจากด้านบน เหมือนมีคนปิดประตูห้องแรงๆ กระแทก ทุกๆ 5 นาที ตอนแรกคิดว่าเป็นแขกห้องอื่นไร้มารยาท ก็ทนๆไป จนเกือบ 5 ทุ่มก็ยังดังเหมือนเดิมโืรไปแจ้ง มีพนักงานขึ้นมาดู เค้าว่า ห้องเราอยู่ชั้นบนสุด ไม่มีห้องอยู่ด้านบนเรา ไม่มีใครอยู่ เราก็ เอ๊ะ ยังไง เสียงอะไร เริ่มถามห้องเพื่อนขางๆ คือทุกคนได้ยินเหมือนกัน นอนไม่หลับเพราะเสียงมันดังมาก ดังมากจริงๆ เราก็โทรแจ้งอีก ปรากฏ รอบนี้ มายอมรับว่า ด้านบนมีป้ายโรงแรมใหญ่บนดาดฟ้า พอมันโดนลมตี ก็จะมีเสียงโครมครามแบบนี้ อ้าววว แล้วจะนอนยังไงเสียงดังมาก ถามขอเปลียนห้องก็ไม่มี บอกคนจองเต็ม แล้วมายืนฟังในห้องเรา เขาก็ได้ยินว่าเสียงมันดังมากๆจริงๆ แต่ไม่มีคำขอโทษ หรือแสดงความรับผิดชอบใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น นี่จะเป็นครั้งแรก และครั้งเดียวที่พักที่ โรงแรมนี้ และจะบอกต่อๆไปด้วยว่า ผู้จะเข้าพักที่นี่ต้องระวัง วันดี คืนร้าย อาจเกิดเหตสลดใจได้ถ้าอยู่ๆป้ายล้มลงมาเนื่องจากแรงลมซึ่งแรงมากๆ พัดป้ายเชื่อกเกิดหย่อน ป้ายพังลงมาห้องด้านล่าง ทางโรงแรมคงไม่รับผิดชอบด้วยอ้างเหตุภัยธรรมชาติ เพราะฉะนั้น...
