The location of Flora Hill is beautiful. The tent we stayed in overlooked the valley, the mountain, and the local agriculture. We found the owner to be very kind and helpful. She walked us around the grounds and spoke very good English! We went in hopes to see beautiful country and to get away from the chaos of the city. It was just that, nothing fancy but incredibly simple and beautiful. The place is full of flowers. Staying in the tents gives you a camping experience, surrounded by nature and local village life. We went when it was cold so extra blankets is necessary. They only serve instant coffee so we made our own coffee in our tents with the supplies we brought. The tents have electricity. The breakfast is small but sufficient with eggs, fruit, and salad as well as a couple Thai dishes. It is served in a little seating area over looking the beautiful valley. Read more1 night here.||The experience was extraordinary for me. ||Took the "Eco Camp Package Superior Double".||Checking in at 6pm was smooth.||There wasn't really a counter like conventional hotels. ||But the owner of the property will greet you as you approach. ||The ladies working there were friendly with limited English but it fine. ||The tents were all facing the valleys.||The view was breathtaking.||There are individual toilets outside each tent. ||The condition of the bed was fine.||Toiletries such as towels, toothbrush, shower gel and shampoo were provided.||Breakfast was served individually in continental style, is served at the dining platform. ||Checking out at 8am was smooth.||I am not sure how else you could get there other than driving up. ||I will definately consider this...
Read moreStayed on the property on 19 Dec 2017 and the weather was very cold (about 17 degrees in the day and 3 degrees in the night).||The panoramic view around the property is breathtaking and you can really smell the fresh mountain air.||The room rates which I booked during my stay was steep but the warm hospitality of the owner made my stay a memorable one. The landlady by the name of Jaime is very fluent in English and she went all the way out to prepare a sumptuous dinner and breakfast for us.
