Lanna House Lanna Hut Chiangmai — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

We stayed here from 5th March to the 8th as we wanted longer in Chiang Mai but wanted to stay somewhere different and cheaper. Seeing the pictures online and seeing the reviews we couldn’t believe how cheap it was! When we got there we was greeted by Bali (not sure I spelt it correct) and he was so lovely he give us toothbrushes, soap, toilet roll, toothpaste, ear plugs and there’s a hairdryer to use, he offers use his scooter as long as you replace the fuel you’ve used and there’s fruit in the morning for your breakfast in a really cute dining area with a kettle, microwave, free coffee and Thai tea. The rooms and the whole place was beautiful and well thought out. The swimming pool was lovely and there’s a washing machine with maidens out back for you to use for 20baht. Even thought the location is quite far from the city of chiang mai ( you can rent a scooter for very cheap here it’ll take 20min ) it’s a beautiful place if you want somewhere to relax and we will definitely be back in the future not only because of the price but how kind Bali was to me and my partner and made us...

Amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable hosts. They deserve a shout out. I am a sucker for bamboo huts but what sold me was the saltwater pool literally steps from my door that overlooked the rice fields (was very hard to leave poolside!). Authentic Thai breakfast included. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Pick up and drop off available. ||I didn’t have much time on this visit but I’d taken their bicycle to visit the nearby market, massage parlour, and the Elephant Cafe. The neighbourhood itself is great if you need a break from hectic city life - their neighbours grill up bbq nightly. The scooter also available would be great for a day trip to the waterfalls or Hot Springs.||Seems like a fairly new listing but I know it will without a doubt do very well. Will definitely make an effort to return....

Tout avait pourtant mal commencé 😏, la navette qui était censée venir me récupéré à l'aéroport n'était pas là...je me suis donc rendu en taxi à l'hôtel. Sur place, très bon accueil, par après arrivée du mari qui me montre bien une pancarte avec mon nom, il semblerait que nous n'attendions pas au même endroit à l'aéroport, ce n'est pas grave, l'hôtel me conduira au centre ville gratuitement lors du check out pour compenser. Cela dit, pour les futurs voyageurs, faites vous bien préciser l'endroit où l'on vous attendra.||L'endroit est agréable, grand jardin, petite réception avec banc en bois. De suite le personnel me prépare de quoi déjeuner, super sympa. Les cabanes sont en pailles tressées, pas très grandes, attention si vous êtes deux, ça peut coincer avec deux valises...lit standard, moustiquaire, WC et douche. Le tout donnant sur la piscine extérieure. Le logement en lui même est assez rustique, j'ai toutefois passé des nuits calmes, car j'étais seul aussi il faut dire dans l'établissement durant 2 nuits sur 3 et seul à voyager donc plus de place...quelques aboiements de chien par ci par là...il n'y a pas vraiment d'insonorisation, du coup, il faut espérer avoir un voisinage calme. La piscine est agréable, mais froide. La vue est dégagée au loin, l'endroit est vraiment agréable. La connexion Wi-Fi est correct. Pour le matin, déjeuner simpliste. Pain, confiture, petit jus d'orange, Yahourt. Mais n'hésitez pas à demander autre chose, les hôtes sont charmants. Le vrai plus, c'est la possibilité d'emprunter le scooter qui est sur place gratuitement. Dans les alentours, pas grand chose, une salle de gym en face, quelques vendeurs de tout et de rien... Il faut aller plus loin pour trouver un restaurant convenable comme le Aroy Garden à 5min en scooter. Le tarif est trop chère, 87euros pour 3 nuits soit 30 euros par nuitée... Cela dit si l'on retire l'utilisation du scooter 7euros par jour qui est offert cela reviendrait donc à 22-23euros qui est finalement réaliste bien qu'encore un peu chère pour la prestation proposée,et les équipements à disposition. J'ai connu pire, j'ai connu mieux... Mais je reviendrais...
