Mae Faek Villas — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

Great place, the villa's are excellent. Coffee and breakfast are good every morning. The owners don't speak English particularly well but nothing you can't work around with Google Translate. Only downside would be the location which is a 40 minute motorcycle ride from Chiang Mai, plus there isn't a great deal in the local area, there are some nice local restaurants, we found a all you can eat cook for yourself place which wasn't on Google Maps unfortunately. I stayed 5 nights/ 6 days. The price was good, the room was a pretty good size. I did not like the service. I had to ask them to come clean my room, and they did one time only during my 5 night stay. They did not change the bedding at all, even during one-time cleaning. I checked in at 2:00, and the room was not ready, I asked for the other room, and the lady said I had to pay an extra 100 bhat/night more because I made my reservation through Agoda.com.
