We stayed there last weekend. Wonderful experience. The property has an altitude of 750m which gave a night time temperature of 17ºC, no aircon required!
It's described as a homestay but that really doesn't do it justice, The quality of the build and furnishing is superb. There are currently 2 buildings one with 3 bedrooms and the possibility to sleep a group of10, we were there with 3 couples which was perfect. The other building has a living room and bedroom and would comfortably sleep 4. All the bedrooms are on suite and the 3 bed building has a self contained kitchen. The whole property has access to high speed internet.
Outdoor they have a kitchen with a wonderful chef where you can also get fresh coffee / beer / wine ( one of the owners is french so the wine selection is good). There is a sala outside the 3 bed unit and and a deck over the river of the on bed unit with is own fire pit. There is another fire pit adjacent to the three bed unit. One of the best parts of the property is Mae Sai river runs the whole length of the property. There were 2 hammocks spanning the river and a small island with chairs. We enjoyed lounging in natural pools with adult beverages, the water is crystal clear and refreshingly cool. The river has small waterfalls which provide a wonderful white noise that masks all other sounds giving a great nights sleep!
The local area is full of beautiful views of the spectacular Chiang Dao mountains with wonderful coffee shops and restaurants to have Khao Soi and other local delicacies. We only ventured out once as there was so much to enjoy on site.
We enjoyed it so much and will definitely return.
