phu Chaem House — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

We found this gem of a place while searching for nice and convenient accommodations for a Doi Inthanon adventure and I have to say we were very impressed with the quality of the place and excellent service we received. Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel but if you are looking for a clean, friendly & laid back atmosphere then this is a great place to start. Only negative things I would say is that the bed was really hard and pillows were small and hard. Also, there is no heater for the cold season so plan accordingly and you will be able to save lots of money and have a great time. Phu Chaem House was a welcome surprise. The property is very clean. The hosts were very welcoming. We only stayed one night. In the morning, we had slept so well, we tried to book another night but they were already full. So, know ahead of time that if you need a rest from the road this is a good place and book two nights.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a refrigerator in the room. As well as a small couch.

We did have to go out to the reception building to get hot water for coffee - but they provided 3-in-1 coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks.

We stayed here for 1 night on our Mae Hong Son loop trip. It was quiet, it was fantastic.||The little cabins have Air-con, Refrigerator, Hot shower and free WiFi. Each cabin has it's own parking space and free hot coffee and tea.They have a self serve breakfast of toast and jam or bananas etc. The owner and staff are extremely friendly but speak little English.
