We found this gem of a place while searching for nice and convenient accommodations for a Doi Inthanon adventure and I have to say we were very impressed with the quality of the place and excellent service we received. Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel but if you are looking for a clean, friendly & laid back atmosphere then this is a great place to start. Only negative things I would say is that the bed was really hard and pillows were small and hard. Also, there is no heater for the cold season so plan accordingly and you will be able to save lots of money and have a great time. Side note: if you are interested in seeing the sunrise at Doi Inthanon you can make it to the viewpoint in about 35mins from here. Great place as fahrang I highly...

Phu Chaem House was a welcome surprise. The property is very clean. The hosts were very welcoming. We only stayed one night. In the morning, we had slept so well, we tried to book another night but they were already full. So, know ahead of time that if you need a rest from the road this is a good place and book two nights.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a refrigerator in the room. As well as a small couch.

We did have to go out to the reception building to get hot water for coffee - but they provided 3-in-1 coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks.

We would absolutely...

We stayed here for 1 night on our Mae Hong Son loop trip. It was quiet, it was fantastic.||The little cabins have Air-con, Refrigerator, Hot shower and free WiFi. Each cabin has it's own parking space and free hot coffee and tea. They have a self serve breakfast of toast and jam or bananas etc. The owner and staff are extremely friendly but speak little English. You will have to go into town to have dinner. There are small food shops or a 7/11. Was very peaceful and will definitely stay there again. A nice area to walk around and the locals are very...

Great value for the money booking online, but cheaper to walk in and ask for a room. Excellent location for access to Doi Inthanon National Park. 2-3 minute drive to a fabulous Thai/Western food restaurant. 5 minutes drive to 7-11. Other small Thai restaurants around too, but eating at Mae Chaem Gate Restaurant every night is delightful. Air-con room with fan, private toilet with shower, large fridge, TV, fast & free WiFi and an ok bed make for a comfy stay. Front patio with nice views all for B500/night. $14-15 USD.

I visited here last July. The welcome was very warm, the owner and his family gave me a very good feeling. I arrived at the hostel, and I had a lot of fun, everything is pastoral and tidy, the room was great. There are some insects, but wait, we're in nature, aren't we? (: Somehow, I was alone in the whole hostel. Because I came in the off-season, it was a lot of fun for me. I will come back again
