I had booked and paid for 2 nights here but chose to leave after the first.||I did not feel welcome or comfortable here. As a solo female traveler that is really important, especially given the isolated location of this spot. I'd chosen it for that reason, wanting a quiet escape from the city at a jungle oasis. Based on previous reviews I made my booking.||I did not experience any of the friendliness or welcome others did unfortunately. Nothing about the property or area was explained to me and I constantly felt like an intruder. I never got a smile from the staff, just blank stares. I'd been traveling for 4 months and used to overcoming any language barriers with smiles, laughter and hand gestures, the staff here were not even willing to try. ||The lighting in the room was so poor I had to use a flashlight to read, the sheets were used children's style Hello Kitty sheets and if I turned the hot water heater on in the shower it reduces it to a drizzle. After breakfast I couldn't find anyone who spoke English to address my concerns so I simply wrote a note saying I was uncomfortable and choosing to check out. I didn't throw a fit, didn't demand my money back, I just wanted to leave, While waiting for pick up the owner sped up on his motor bike and confronted me about leaving. He kept claiming I was the first to be unhappy like that made it not true. This was the first time I'd ever left a property having already paid for a room and paying for another elsewhere so this was unexpected for me as well and I'm traveling for this whole year so every dollar is super important, but more so my well being. He was very aggressive and I told him at least 10 times I didn't want to argue about it, I just wanted to leave. He finally left me to wait for my pick up then came back later to tell me the driver had called and would be an hour late and claimed if he gave bad service he would have never came back out to tell me this and proceeded to try to argue with me more about my feelings of being unwelcome and uncomfortable. This would have been fine if he wanted to have a calm productive conversation about it and actually hear me but that wasn't the case. He kept cutting me off and not listening at all and kept trying to convince me I was wrong. Again, I wouldn't forfeit the nights rental fee and book new accommodations if what I was experiencing wasn't very real and very unacceptable. ||I booked because of the rave reviews, I don't think this is a bad place. It was an off day or a bad fit and unfortunately my experience differed greatly from the others. I don't recommend this for solo females. It's the way the owner handled it that was the...

DiDi, Swedish owner did not give me a nice welcoming, he was in hurry to go on an outing with resident. When I told him I wanted to change rooms, we got into a very bad heated discussion, then finally he said ok in a very harsh way. Since then for the remainder of my 5 days DiDi was not helpful, very poor response when texting him, refused to return my calls, and avoided answering questions I had about my stay. Poor Wifi all around property. Poor housekeeping for room, never changed the bed linens (during 4 N stay); daily had to ask for clean towels and to empty trash in rooms. Rooms were out dated, extremely worn old towels. Extremely HARD mattress. I had large room w/ sitting area n kitchen, but kitchen had no supplies (no dishes, no utensils, no microwave) only refrigerator. When asked for a dish, bowl, fork, his wife told me No, then I walked to kitchen and she went to get items. Communication w/ staff was extremely difficult (only spoke Thai) n had to call DiDi abt. my concerns. Severe problems with Ants 🐜 in bathroom n kitchen areas n kitten cleaner brush (used from previous customers) was smelling, dingy, n owner should have provided new one. I asked DiDi to for help to find a driver he said it was difficult for drivers to come there n I should call Grab (Uber like service) which does not come to the area. I ate at the restaurant 1 time, food was too salty n not very good, so I ate the rest of my meals at outside hotels. DiDi , the owner said he had lived here over 30++ years , but he has decor, towns, bed linen dating back to those years. |I was 110% unhappy and disappointed with how I was subjected to rudeness and inhospitable manners by DiDi the owner. I’ve traveled around the World and never have experienced disappointment as I did with owner, and property. |I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE, if so be aware of what May transpire...

This place is perfect if you want some time to relax in very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. You only hear frogs and birds, the pool is huge, it's a small resort so you never get crowds of other guests. It feels like staying in a family's garden. And the garden is a marvel! So much work went (and keeps going) into making this property into a tropical paradise. Everything is maintained and taken care of meticulously. Didi, the owner, is a hardworking guy who speaks not only Thai, but also French, German and English. He's super helpful, advised me where I can eat, organised a nice scooter for me and gave me advice on where to go. You can also eat delicious homemade food at the resort's restaurant overlooking the river. I wish I could have stayed longer.

This place is awesome! The photos don't really do it justice. The garden is an artistic creation of many years hard work and the location by the river is really fun! The oasis feels like you're in the jungle with all the beautiful butterflies, birds and plants. The Hosts showed us around and answered all our enthusiastic questions about the plants and area. The rooms are clean and pleasant with modern amenities and far enough from neighbours that you have your own space. We really enjoyed spending time with Didi, who started the project, he is a lovely and interesting person to have as a host and we are really happy to support such a cool project. Thank you so much!!

If you are looking for a quiet spot amongst nature, this is for you. Situated on the edge of a quiet little village on the river, the little cabins are comfortable, very clean and amongst a beautiful garden. The pool is a luxury, but the best thing about the stay is the host and his wife. Didi and his wife are very welcoming, extremely helpful and the authentic food cooked by his wife is incredible. We ate the fried noodles for breakfast and dinner! Scooter hire from Didi along with the perfect location for exploring really made this an enjoyable stay for us. Can't recommend enough
