The good: the hotel itself is really beautiful, the location is out of town which makes for a quiet and peaceful stay.||The rooms are clean and well designed.||The tuk tuk driver and some staff are helpful and pleasant. The tuk tuk driver especially will take you into the city or come and pick you up if you don't have your own transport. ||||The bad||the Manager on duty was unfriendly and not very hospitable. I asked for extra towels to use at the swimming pool but they would not provide any. They don't give you any refreshments or any extras with your room like: coffee, tea, hairdryer, extra towels, showe cap....basically the little perks you would expect from a hotel, as you are paying for a hotel price and not a homestay, guesthouse or hostel.||the staff speak very minimal English so it's quite hard to converse with them and ask them about sightseeing as I asked them about visiting hellfire pass and none of them had a clue about what i was talking about which is shocking as people come to kanchanaburi to just to go there. ||The hotel provided a really basic breakfast and they didn't even have fresh milk to put in your tea or coffee.||We also paid for an upgrade through Agoda and weren't given one which I think is due to the fact that half of the resort was in construction and looks like they have dicountinued working on it.||All in all I expected alot more for the prices advertised. Won't be...

Not good if you have suitcases.||||The pool is not up to standard with any hotel I have stayed at here. It is small and in sort of an odd place(directly sandwiched between two rows of hotel rooms. The room was cozy and small. I kind of liked they way it was decorated. Also the breakfast was good and the breakfast room sits up looking down on the river so this is a nice touch.||||If you are coming you need a car unless you have almost no luggage. For the price I think there are better options though. But don't let me ruin it for you if you want to give it a try. Sometimes good hotels in this area book up and this place will do in that...
Read moreThis places' only downside is that it's a little ways out of town (a 6 minute taxi ride). We rented a motorbike and absolutely loved our stay. The staff were extremely pleasant, the room is kept impeccable (even fold the clothes you leave out), and if you walk in to the front gate the staff rushes to get a little car to provide you a ride down the hill. The best part is the room's indoor/outdoor shower. The hotel tabby cat is a nice touch also, so friendly and cute! ||I'd recommend this...
