The bungalows are decent, but you can easily find better with much nicer location/views, the food is ok but it it easy to find more yummy and cheaper, the owners did everything we asked for but I'd never called them friendly. Both food and accommodation is a bit overpriced by koh Chang standards and it is relatively busy. Try to do some research and find better place (it is easy) otherwise cashew bungalows are ok.

It was amazing. Best maintained and managed place on the island. They keep putting in a lot of effort to constantly improve the huts, almost all are newly renovated and always keep improving the restaurant. Perfect friendly staff and amazing beach location. I will come back and stay a while 🏖️

Note that this review is for our 2017 stay at Cashew||We decided to stay here because we wanted to dive Apo Reef. ||What we didn’t know is that we will be starved during our stay and limited to their food (by that i mean there is NOTHING around for you to shop at and they DONT allow ordering extras) ||Let’s put things in perspective, were 3 people, averagely sized avid divers (yes, my husband is 6 foot 9 but me and my dad are just tall people) ||The rooms are OK, kind of..the AC barely cools the room and there’s bugs everywhere cause really it’s not the most insulated bungalows) the beds were tiny but we had worse. ||Where they really pissed us off was the food. We tell this story to EVERY diver we meet and everyone are just shocked, it became our “notorious worse resort” story. ||Food was very limited, by that I mean you get a piece of fruit, an egg and some rice for breakfast, and for dinner you get a fish the size of your finger and some rice) || Somehow we decided to just suck it up and go diving, cause we were certain the lunch for divers will be generous! I mean, divers you know need food. Oh how wrong we were ||We got a little lunch box, with ONE piece of chicken, a half cup of rice and a piece of fruit. We were so hungry we begged the divers in the boat to share their food with us and ended up splitting a banana 3 way to help us make it through the day. When we returned to the resort and talked to management we were told “well,it’s enough for NORMALLY sized people” ||Let me make this clear. We are not OBESE, we are perfectly healthy, fit and in shape. If i could course on trip advisor I would. ||Don’t do it! Not worth it. We ended up leaving to Coron and leaving our money wasted with them. It...

We arrived at Cashew resort on a boat from Ranong. It cost 200 bht each for the boat.||The boat carried a fair amount of freight, including loads of ice, for the resorts on Ko Chang.||We were dropped off on the edge of the sea at Cashew resort.||Reception was quick and we were in ourbeachside cabin within 5 mins.||Cashew resort is a lovely place to stay.Sure, it has a fairly large group of resident Germans avoiding Europe's winter but we were welcomed by all.||The restaurant at Cashew is first class with prices much lower than in Bangkok.||There is a minimart about 10 mins walk along the beach.||Electricity is only on from about 18-00 until 23-00. Internet is free but limited to about 10m from the modem at reception.||We were very pleased with our 4 day stay at Cashew. It was sad to be standing on the beach waving down the ferry...

Was will man mehr?
