Breakfast Buffet was quite nice and tasty, though for the price that we paid for the night 3700 baht, we would have expected some real fruit juice not the coloured and sugared artificial beverage they offered. The hotel located right on the banks if the river, about 1-2 km from the town center. There is no shuttle service to the town center, where the night market is, the river promenade and the walking street. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival, but nobody escorted us to the room. Had to request a second room key for us being two persons. Room was not air-conditioned when we came in. Took some time to cool down in the afternoon heat. It was really strange that they gave us two bottles of free water in the room, but the charged us 30 baht extra on check-out for one of the returnable bottles, which was missing, becauce we had taken it out of the room. That was kind of inappropriate and as we felt it was unfriendly, when you consider that there was nobody escorting us to the room on arrival, but the reception staff had time to go and check the room for a missing empty bottle and keep us waiting at...
Read moreAlthough this is a new hotel (built 2020-2021) I'm surprised that there aren't any reviews for it yet. The hotel is in a great location just outside the centre of Chiang Khan, overlooking the mighty Mekong River, with ample, free parking. The Walking Street area of Chiang Khan is about a 5 minute drive away and it's possible to park in the temple off Srichiang Kan Soi 21 or on Cha Khlong Road, east of the Walking Street area.|The hotel itself is clean and modern, with nice swimming and spa pools. Rooms have small balconies with views over the pool and the river. There is a restaurant and cafe / bar onsite. The breakfast is mostly geared for Asian / Thai tastes, but there are enough options for the western palette too.|The only downsides were that the water in the shower, although not cold, could've been hotter; there was no towel rail in the bathroom; there was no room safe.|I would stay here again if visiting...
Read moreStayed January 2023. The hotel is located on the banks of the Mekong river with nice views over to LAOS. Other than the river location i wouldnt consider its location very good. It is located a 15 minute drive from Chang Khan. Car needed. There are no convience stores or restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel. We payed over 3300bht a night ,expensive considering its location. Facilties were modern and room very clean. Breakfast on grass area with sitting on bales of straw. I nconvenient. All items on buffet brealfast stone cold. No contact with staff as hard to find one. One morning after breakfast room key card not working and reception key card not working. Locked out of room for an hour. No apoligies, a Coffee , nothing. Better option is a hotel in Chiang Khan town with all the bustle of restaurants, night markets and bars. Hotel...
