I coundn't book this resort through tripadvisor neither on any other application accept agoda, but I phoned them up and asked themto book in advance only two days. The owners were extremely nice to me, they even took me back to Chiang rai city because the lady was going to buy some stuffs for their hotel's running as well. The weather there were very pleasant, I had a standanrd bungalow "b5", you can view their properties on their website. I think B5 is the best view amoungst the standanrd types. They do not provide free breakfast, you have to pay which is not so pricy. They also offer a camp ground as well which is 100 thb per head. They have two dogs and they are so lovely and friendly. You can walk to tea farm nearby or walk up the hill to see tribal villages as well. During December, January I think air cons is not so important but in April you might need to book for aircon room. They also have dinner which I found was very nice. Free parking as well. You don't need to rent a car or motorbike to come to this resort but you might need to catch a small van and the price is varied starting from 100 to 500 thb depends on how...
Read moreThe hotel facilites were much smaller than described in their website. It was a kind of home stay, not a resort. Not much value of money if compared to other hotel in the Chiang Ray (49.92 USD/ night). Before I could book with Agoda, I had to call the owner so that he could release the room type on the Agoda, which was very inconvenient as not all the staff there could speak English. The view on the way to the hotel was great, not the view from the hotel. The room A7 that I booked was full of the bad smell from the toilet which was next to the mattress. When I asked the housekeeper to clean the toilet, she did it with a big dry towel and could not drive the smell away! and I wondered the towel could be used for another guest. So I checked out, lost all the money for 3 nights ! The hotel was very isolated, so if I wanted to eat out, I had to hire a car which was not cheap to bring me to the nearest restaurant, which was about 15 minutes drive because walking was not...
Read moreWe stayed for two nights in the basic bungalow accommodation. Spectacular views, very friendly and hospitable hosts and two giant dogs that accompanied us on our walk to the tea fields. Seriously some of the best views and good vibes we've found in Northern Thailand. ||Tasty yunnanese menu, the steamed pork leg is a must if you're carnivorous. Everything inside the bungalows was basic but clean and more than acceptable for the price. To find the place, continue all the way through the town on the main road until you see the signs, then follow as directed. The road is a little precarious at times but easy to navigate. ||Only issue we had was some loud Thai neighbors on our final night - I know everyone holidays for different reasons but seemed odd to find so much noise in a such a tranquil spot. This had nothing to do with the...
