Blue Canyon Golf Course — Hotel in Mai Khao

Such a beautiful course!!!! If you get a chance to play it, do! And, do the Canyon course (tournament course). We had read about it so knew to ask, but otherwise the default was the other course when booking. Had never played with a caddie before… would’ve rather have had the option to just ride with my husband, but they were nice and helpful (especially once we mentioned wanting actual yardage not what they thought we could hit). The rental clubs are in great shape; there are few levels to choose from for women and men! Buy wooden tees in the clubhouse if you need them (caddies only had plastic). The gift shop didn’t have as many options that said “Phuket” given we came from the US and wanted that rather than a brand logo, but they overall were great too. Played the course yesterday. I thought I could walk the lakes course, but it was so darn hot it became a pain in that humid heat. Course all around in very good shape. Greens are tricky due to the grain, but ball rolls nicely. Some caddy’s don’t speak English very well. The caddy master should take that into consideration when assigning caddies. The caddy I had was very good and always spot on with the distance without a range finder. Green reading also very good especially when having to chip. Had dinner there after which was very nice and dirt cheap. It keeps blowing my mind what one can eat and drink for $30. Downside there is no phone I could find to book golf directly at...

On one of these cool days, my man took part in the tournament. and leaving the women's locker room, I forgot the money that was on the order sheet from Ikea with my personal data.
