R Photo Hotel — Hotel in Nakhon Phanom Province

An acceptable place to stay for a few nights. Location is a few kilometers outside of the city center/walking street area. The sister hotel, R2, is located right behind so you have that option as well. There's generous parking and hotel grounds are maintained and tidy. Check-in is a bit stiff, receptionists doing the bare minimum and hardly saying anything.||||The room was perfectly fine with good cleanliness and comfy bed, everything is still in quite nice condition. However, walls are paper thin so can't say the room felt private as the soundproofing was so poor you could hear people cough in the adjacent room and lean against the headboard of their bed which was against the wall—just to give you an idea. Also found that the bathroom had a strange odor, perhaps coming from the pipes.||||The hotel has a coffee shop, Japanese restaurant, and a rooftop bar/restaurant; the latter was always empty and staff would be lounging outside, leaning against the railing and eyeing guests from above. Even when we went upstairs, no one said a word or approached to welcome us, so we ended up going someplace else. At the time of our visit, breakfast was closed and had been since the pandemic.||||Reception isn't available 24h but there's a guard on duty at night, we checked-out at dawn and found the guard sleeping soundly on the sofa...

We went to R photo hotel based on the review. A brief family vacation to Nakhon Phanom for two nights. This was a budget hotel at best which managed like low cost airline. We booked and stayed in the suite (“large format”type of room Baht 1990 per night). The hotel decorated with all kind of cameras as photogenic spot. |I figured with two adults and two kids. It should be perfect. The room was large with jacuzzi. Unfortunately the water pressure was weak so it took ages to fill the jacuzzi. |The bed were two single beds made into one. That was too small for four. A charge of Baht 350 for extra bed. That was fair. But an extra towel would incur Baht 50. That was a bit fastidious. |If your kid accidentally wet the bed, it would be Baht 500 cleaning fee for bed sheet and bed guard (topper) For this, it was a bit steep. |Breakfast was adequate. Hotel restaurant and cafe were good enough but again a bit pricey. |There was no pool nor view to enjoy. |All in all, it was good enough only for a brief stay or...

One day night in Nakorn Panom with large format room type. The room was cozy.

The room is clean but not the best , there is dust when opening the window and on the windowsill.

Housewives should be trained to be thorough in cleaning.

There is something moody for me : the electricity will cut off at 8.30am -5.30pm in the next morning , but the hotel just told me. when the booking is completed instead of telling before booking . THIS’S NONSENSE!

And they don’t have breakfast service

That’s why they should get 2 stars hotel.

If expecting to stay at a local hotel, it's not bad here and inexpensive.

But if compare to the other hotel with standard service , cleanliness, attention The hotel should be improved because the hotel is still new,modern , able to attract customers even if its not next...
