โรงแรมเมืองทองธานีรีสอร์ท — Hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

First thing I have to say is don't use Google Map to find the hotel. We ended in the middle of a field, miles from the hotel. A farmer said this was a regular occurrence. We eventually found the hotel which is on the left hand side about 10km on highway 2 coming from Khon Kaen. We did not pre book and check in was easy. Reception staff were very polite with adequate English I paid 800 baht for a couple, including breakfast, which I considered very reasonable. The room was large and clean. Large comfortable bed. My only complaint was that the cover was a lot smaller than the bed. Shower / toilet room was good size, with good water pressure. The hotel was quiet and a good nights sleep was only spoiled by the stupid bed cover. Adequate breakfast, American and Thai with helpful table staff. Nice restaurant, very light and comfortable. ||Took a walk around the grounds and was given a tour of the bungalows. They were unusual. Each had it's own swimming pool and roof terrace. This was a one night stop-over on a road trip, which served a purpose but I'm glad we weren't staying longer. The room was enormous, and of a decent enough standard but the whole place was utterly soul-less. We arrived at 8pm, hungry and if there was a restaurant at the hotel it was already closed and there was nothing else nearby. We stayed here on our way to visit family in Issan. The hotel is situated on the South bound side of the 2 mainroad. The rooms are clean, big & cool. Our Thai family also stayed with us and we all had a good time. The resort is also being extended should be even more fantastic when finished. Food OK for hotel but the kids loved the gardens.
