Crystal Resort Korat — Hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Stayed here for a week and a bit. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Room was clean and spacious. Nice shower and bed was comfy. Cleaning staff always had fresh towels when needed, and the rooms were regularly cleaned and stocked with bottled water and coffee.

The staff at the hotel were FANTASTIC. Very kind and friendly. Front desk were always willing to offer assistance and eager to help. The cleaning staff were also on the ball, doing their job with a smile on their face and pleasant to deal with. Top marks to the hotel staff.

The only slight, and small slight was the strange system of doing laundry where one had to list each item of clothing. Id suggest doing it by weight is a better system. Also the restaurant and cafe staff were not great at dealing with customers. Not looking at the customer when giving food, or change, not giving the full attention, etc. But the food in the restaurant was very good. I had a burger and fries with a coffee. was fine. Came to about a 6 Euros 80 cents. (A tad bit expensive)

The Hotel has a nice outdoor seating area, with a fountain and a small stream. Is nice to sit down and relax in.

Great location too. Right next to The Mall, a large shopping and restaurant complex.

Overall, I had a good time at this hotel, and if I am back in town I will definitely like to...

I stayed with my thai partner for 2 nights. The room was ok, in my opinion not 3 stars, but comfortable bed, hot shower, tv, aircon, coffee/jug etc, all good. Room was clean but dirty marks on the wardrobe mirror didn't get removed after 2 days, so they only cleaned what they had to. I was disappointed with the restaurant what l ordered was average at best. What was most disappointing was on check- out the receptionist just ignored my $500 baht deposit receipt which l handed her and acted as if she didn't have to refund my deposit. She was just ignoring it. I asked several times for my deposit back and got no where with her. It wasn't until my thai partner had words that her that she went looking in the cash draw and found $500. My wife said that the receptionist knew exactly what she was doing. Based on my check out experience l can't recommend this hotel to anyone.. Also due to the road works in central Korat at the moment all hotels in this area are effected. Better off staying outside and avoid...
