Panorama Golf And Country Club — Hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

I went for the Stay and Play with my Wife, who doesn't play but likes to come along and watch the golf for the long weekend. For 2,000 THB, I got a full game, Caddy and Cart, the Room for me and my Wife and Breakfast for us both, effectively they are just about giving away the accommodation. Ok, the Accommodation is 3-Star, but still nice and comfortable and We both had a good night's sleep. The Check-in process was very easy and the lady who did it all was polite and very helpful, particularly as my plans were changed at the last minute. The Check-out was excellent also as we got a bonus of a very late checkout time, after we finished 18 holes, so a big benefit and plus for the stay being able to have a shower and change my clothes before hoing home. The Clubhouse is a nice comfortable typical Clubhouse with the all the things to be expected, the balcony has a beautiful view on the pool and a small lake behind. Some nice things were the Barman spoke English and was interesting to talk to, particularly the information abut the course and the lovely 8th hole with the amazing panorama view. It adds to the experience when the guy serving you drinks plays also. The golf is amazing. It is not an easy flat course, its a really nice hilly and challenging course. It is just beautiful to look at and enjoy the scenery and beauty of the place. My Tip about the course is the second cut around the green is not nice to get out of and is a challenge. Nice people, lovely course and good caddys. Hotel dated needs upgrade but clean. ||||Breakfast bad, Thai food very bad, western food not so good either. I had my girlfriend come along, they said free but when I rented a golf cart they charged 200 baht for her to ride in the cart. I paid the full cost of the cart, 600 baht and if there were 2 folders or one golfer it was 600. But for her to sit in the cart extra 200 baht. If she walked it was free? I don't understand Thais when they want to rip you off for 200 baht. I stayed there, ate there and golfed there but they need to cheat you out of an additional $5. ||||I spent $250 and I am upset over $5 they said if I did not want to pay I did not need to play at their course. I booked online through Agoda and arrived mid afternoon. I organised to play golf before i checked into my room.I finished golf around 6 pm, picked up my key and went to the room i had been allocated. As i was walking to the stairs i was nearly attacked by a dog which obviously belonged to a local living in one of the downstairs apartments. The room was absolutely disgusting.. It was dirty, smelly and looked very bad. It appears that i had been given a room in the staff accommodation!! When i went back to reception, they had obviously disappeared before i could complain. I had to negotiate a cash settlement with the manager of the restaurant to be given a proper hotel room, which was only average anyway but 1000% better than the original one. I don't recommend...
