There's nothing fancy about this place. It's everything you would expect for 1,500 Baht for highland resort but we were charged 2,000 due to three days weekend holiday, which in my wife's opinion is a bit excessive. But for 1,500 you get all the amenities of mini bar, cable TV, hair dryer, shapoo and conditioners short of splippers. Cottage is roomy and reasonably clean, but wife complained of musty odor in the room and bed sheets (which I only sensed when I stepped in from outside). It has a open terrace with small table set. Shower room is outside with roof and wall but otherwise completely exposed to the climate therefore can be cold at night and early morning (it can get pretty chilly at night even during the hottest time of the year), not to mention loads of snails, snail waste and spider web in the shower room walls. I had to sprinkle and wash the floor before taking shower each time. You also have to open and drain the tap for 5 minutes before it gets warm enough for hot shower. Breakfast was very basic and unsatisfactory but otherwsie Thai food at open terrace restaurant (lunch and dinner) is pretty good for what you can expect in highland. Credit card is not accepted so they asked for 1,000 Baht deposit to secure booking but they were flexible to keep the room anyway when my wife called to say we have no time to go to the bank for transfer. Owner and the family/relatives (most of whom seem to work at the restaurant) are very friendly and nice people. There was a party of guests playing karaoke really loud at night but it went quiet at 10PM sharp in accordance with the...
Read moreWe had 3 bungalows for 7 people. The bungalows are one room for bedroom and lounge. Shower is outside, which is not really a great feature, especially if the mosquitos like you! The place was pleasant enough, but is not great value for money. We paid 5000thb per night for the 3 bungalows with 7 people. So around 1700thb per night per bungalow. There are better value places available. ||There is a pool it is small but ok. The cafe does breakfast with choice from 3 to 4 options, food is nice and a good start to the day. The lady running the cafe is really helpful. ||Overall we would not recommend this place as we think compared to other places there is better value out there. But this place is ok if you want a quiet and friendly...
Read moreI was here for 2 days and 1 night. This resort has not much area but they can allocate all the area divisibly. There is a very nice beautiful pool in front of a cafeteria. For meals, the foods is tasty especially Num Prik Long Rue. The house I stayed has a nice view and all the amenities are there and be ready to use. In the morning, you can feel a very fresh air flow through your face and body, you can take a very deep breath because everyone knew Pak Chong is the place where you can refresh your life. in addition, I didn't appreciate with their service that much because they sometimes a little bit...
