Our stay at Sea Mountain was short (only 1 night) as we were committed to exploring the mainland and this was only the first stop so we didn’t want to get too comfortable but it definitely would have been possible here. The welcome at Reception is warm and efficient and we found that to be the same with all staff we encountered. We were allocated a room on the top floor (level 5) with a large, wrap-around deck to take advantage of the sweeping views across the both the coast and the mountains. Our room was spacious, super clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable and wifi worked well. A lovely pool area at the rear of the hotel looked inviting but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy. Breakfast is simple but tasty, all good quality food. The location makes it a terrific base for exploring Khanom and surrounds. The beach is a very short walk (2 minutes across the road) and although we had a car, I’m sure it would only be a 10 minute walk to the town but unless you need supplies, there’s no reason to go every day. Scattered around the vicinity there are other hotels and bungalow operations with the usual restaurants and bars that accompany them. The beach is long, clean and very safe for swimming.||||We found Sea Mountain by recommendation and we would be very happy to...
Read moreThis hotel should be busy all year. For some reason this is low season, but I can't figure out why. ||The hotel was well layout. The pool was excellent and the room spacious with a wide balcony. A couple of things that would make this a 5/5. The room had a piece of decorative wood panelling that was removed, likely due to termites (judging from other infested, chewed, saw dust pieces), that was never replaced. The breakfast was good, but instant coffee and juice jyst doesn't cut it in a tropical country. ||The staff is their saving grace. Very friendly and helpful with advice. This hotel is great value at this time of year and well located relative to the...
Read moreThis hotel is located near Nadan beach (5 minute walk). The hotel has homely atmosphere. It is run by a family. Staff are friendly but can speak limited English. Buffet Breakfast is decent. Lunch & Dinner also available on a-la-carte basis. Food is decent priced although not cheap. Food is tasty. |Hotel is very clean. However wifi is slow. Also no bathtub. In case someone prefer outside food then options are limited in the walkable distance. However there are good restaurants in Khanom which are far off. If sea view is required, then one shall request room in 4th or 5th floor. |Would love to come back again for the good service and...
