Sea Stone Hotel — Hotel in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

The hotel is a little outside the busy beaches and directly on a beach, mostly deserted. Your can hear the sea from your room and if you pay the price, you can have a room with a view on the beach. The swimming pool is beautiful and gives a view on the sea. All conditions could be met for a pleasant stay (if you have a vehicle because otherwise, you would be trapped). Yet, the best rooms are rather small for the price (3000 THB). They offer no privacy. Equipment is definitely cheap and not worth a 4 star rating. TV has only thai channels. Not hot water on the hand wash basin, tiles that imitate parquet. All would be OK if the service would be according to the standard but the personnel is not trained to deal with clients even less so with international clients. Actually most clients are thai. Breakfast does not give much choice especially when they organize a buffet. All in all, l am sure it is possible to find something better or at least equivalent for a cheaper...

Unfortunately I'd be remiss to not mention this hotel. We stayed in a beach villa which upon arrival was full of ants. To get rid of they came in a sprayed with insect killer. We have with us a 6 month old child perhaps not the best environment for such young lungs. The breakfast if you can call it that is a selection of American breakfast or Thai rice porridge. Really no selection. We didn't eat here at all. No security options in the room. Not that this location inspires confidence in security anyway. For a budget location ok. But at a rate of 1800 baht per night you can get much better for half the price. Phuket peach blossom in low season is 1200 and that is a 4 star. Thus would barely...

The hotel is a little off the beaten track so unless you have a car, you feel a little cut off. Some people may prefer that I guess. No complaints with our room; it was quite big, had great facilities and a fab view of the sea. The pool was a good size and has a separate small area for kids. We ate here for breakfast; it's a small selection of Thai and western whilst there's a few more options for lunch and dinner.
