We stayed at Beyond Skywalk Nangshi for our honeymoon and truly enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The hotel was not crowded, which made our stay even more special — we cherished every second of tranquility with my partner.

⸝

Room & Wifi Wi-Fi in the hotel’s common areas like the pool and lobby was great. However, in our room, the connection wasn’t strong. Thankfully, a staff member quickly addressed the issue. Score: 3/5

Staff & Language Reception staff did not speak English, and only a few team members could communicate effectively. This made interactions frustrating and difficult at times. Score: 2/5

Food & Kosher Options Breakfast was rich and varied. The staff went above and beyond to support our kosher needs by preparing food using our own dishes. A rare and thoughtful gesture. Score: 5/5

Pricing & Services Extras like soda and snacks were overpriced, and even basic services came with unexplained fees. The service charge felt unjustified, especially for in-house guests. Score: 1.5/5

Customer Experience This place is clearly a tourist trap. Guests staying at the hotel are treated no differently than day visitors. It felt like everything was about squeezing more money from us, rather than creating a quality experience. Score: 1.5/5

Facilities The pool has an incredible view, but it was often messy. Towels and leftover items were left lying around, and there was no staff presence to maintain order or cleanliness. No lifeguard either. Score: 2.5/5

Bar & Happy Hour Disappointing service. I was promised flexibility on the two-for-one drinks but received both at once. The drink itself was incredibly weak, with barely any alcohol. Score: 1.5/5

⸝

Overall Verdict: This hotel is only worth it for the view and breakfast. Service, pricing, and guest care fall short. Unfortunately, we do not recommend staying here or returning.

Beyond Disappointing – Not Worth the Price

This resort could have all the trappings of luxury but unfortunately, it falls far short in many ways. For a price that’s significantly above the local average, I was expecting something far more thoughtful, especially when it comes to the environment. Instead, EVERYTHING is made of plastic, from the furniture to the fake bamboo décor. It’s beyond disappointing that they’ve chosen to scar such a lovely environment with cheap and unsustainable materials.

The details are appalling—locks are literally made of plastic water pipes that slide into a plastic bamboo pipe. It’s hard to believe someone thought this was acceptable, let alone luxurious.

To add insult to injury there’s a note in the room asking guests to “be mindful of the environment,” which is clearly greenwashing as there is no actual commitment to sustainability. When you see a place like this, it’s hard not to feel disillusioned—especially given the natural beauty it’s sitting in.

What’s more, the resort is located directly above a busy road and on a flight path. With plastic tents that aren’t soundproof, it’s not exactly the peaceful retreat you might be hoping for.

The food is also well below par—bland, uninspired, and far from the quality you’d expect at this price point.

The 5G tower right in the middle of the view is the final scar.

The rest of the view at this location is the only reason we didn’t leave early as it really is beautiful, however sadly tainted by the scar that is Beyond Skywalk.

All in all, I won’t be recommending this place and I am saddened by...

New hotel and attraction nestled in the side of a mountain facing PhangNga Bay. The hotel has a Skywalk overlooking the bay with glass floors and railings which definitely will be appealing to those with no fear of heights. For folks like me the walk made me feel a bit anxious however, it was bare able. The view is spectacular and is best enjoyed from the two restaurants where you can sit in comfort and enjoy the view. From my opinion anyway, hehehehe.

The fee is 600 baht per adult and for an additional 100 baht you can enjoy a buffet lunch as an option or a LA carte at the other restaurant. I am not sure what issues they were having in the kitchen on the day we came in a group of 8, but the buffet trays were mostly empty and any food you managed to scrape together was absolutely cold. We were at the restaurant at lunch time and stayed for about 40 minutes with many of the lunch crowd huddling around the buffet table praying a refill would arrive, plates in hand.

Just as those brave enough in our group to eat the cold scrapings had finished up, fresh food started to appear. Hehehe, at this point restaurant was near empty and we were readying to catch our shuttle but I will say that the fresh dishes looked quite nice. 😃

Now to be fair, our groups dining misfortune may very well have been an unfortunate timing issue, so Don't let this deter you from giving it a go. I am just stating our experience, on the day we went.

The view is amazing and the staff was (as is common in Thailand), polite and courteous.
