Rain Forest Resort — Hotel in Phitsanulok Province

I went whitewater rafting through the Rain Forest Resort and it was incredible! The scenery was beautiful and the river was a blast! We left from the Rain Forest Resort and it was a sort drive to the put in. The river then took us back towards the resort where it was only a couple minutes drive from the take out. The guides were very impressive and knew the river very well. They made the trip fun and exciting and I felt save the entire time! The Rain Forest Resort not only runs trips down this river, they also organize clean up efforts all along the river. I was very happy to use a company that not only uses the river put also gives back to the community and helps the environment through their clean up efforts. Well signed, at the 43 km marker out of Phitsanulok. Surprisingly quiet as its right on the four-lane Highway 12, though mostly down a hill toward the river. Nature all around. Great restaurant on site. Parking. Rooms are comfortable--but go for one of the more expensive ones, not the 800 Baht new rooms. Wifi is very good.
