Mayson Place Hotel — Hotel in Phraek Sa Subdistrict Municipality

One of the worst hotel I stayed. Beautiful exterior, terrible terrible interior. They have 2 types of room; either prison rooms with no windows / ventilation or the opposite side room with huge non soundproof room as they are located just a small pavement away from the road. Do you prefer stale air room or noisy traffic room? Take your pick.

Advise? Don’t book it. They are good for small seminar or a quick coffee stop/ bites as they are rather near the airport. But not for long term. Their front counter speak terrible english. The only english word they know is check in and check out. Feel like fainting when I want to ask for...

เข้าพักที่โรงแรมนี้เพราะเห็นรีวิวว่าบรรยากาศดีและบริการยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งเป็นความจริง พนักงานเป็นกันเอง ให้ความช่วยเหลือเต็มที่ ห้องพักสะอาด ขนาดกำลังดี อาหารเช้าหลากหลายและรสชาติดี มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน

แต่ข้อเสียที่ให้อภัยไม่ได้คือ ห้องพักติดถนนใหญ่ ไม่มีการป้องกันเสียงรบกวนจากภายนอกเลยครับตอนกลางคืนมีเสียงรถวิ่ง เสียงแตร และเสียงอื่นๆ ตลอดเวลา ทำให้พักผ่อนไม่ได้เลย ติดต่อพนักงานเพื่อแจ้งขอย้ายห้องไปด้านหลัง แต่พนักงานแจ้งว่าห้องเต็ม ซึ่งเข้าใจว่าพนักงานพยายามช่วยเต็มที่แล้ว แต่สุดท้ายก็ทำอะไรไม่ได้

ดูจากรีวิวเก่าก็เห็นว่ามีแขกหลายคนร้องเรียนเรื่องเสียงดังแบบเดียวกัน แต่โรงแรมยังไม่มีการปรับปรุง หากโรงแรมแก้ไขปัญหานี้ได้ จะเป็นที่พักที่ยอดเยี่ยมจริงๆ แต่ถ้ายังเป็นแบบนี้ ก็ไม่สามารถแนะนำให้มาพักได้

ขอให้ ⭐ 1 ดาว เพราะปัญหาเรื่องเสียงใหญ่เกินกว่าจะมองข้ามได้จริงๆครับ

Couldn’t Get Any Sleep Due to Noise

I chose this hotel because of its good reviews about the atmosphere and excellent service, and I must say that part is true. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and of a decent size. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The hotel also provided all the necessary facilities.

However, the biggest issue was the noise. My room was facing a main road, and there was absolutely no soundproofing. I could hear cars, honking, and all sorts of noises throughout the night, making it impossible to get any proper rest. I requested to move to a room at the back, but the staff informed me that all those rooms were fully booked. I appreciate their efforts, but in the end, nothing could be done.

Looking at previous reviews, many other guests have complained about the same issue, yet the hotel still hasn’t made any improvements. If this problem gets fixed, this would be an excellent place to stay. But until then, I cannot recommend it.

Google maps lists this as "highly rated." Not sure why. This must be a business hotel for those that have business in the area. It is on a busy road with a lot of road noise. There is nothing to do and nowhere to walk. The breakfast was the standard Thai fare along with eggs, sausage, toast and fruit. Nothing to set it apart except the 250 price. The Golden Foyer Hotel had a much better breakfast costing 150 baht. My conclusion is this must be one of the better hotels for business travelers. It was too far out of the way and...
