This was the first stop of a 25 year wedding anniversary celebration for my wife and I. Stayed in a deluxe room. |Cups not clean and chipped. Only 2 sachets of triple mix coffee provided. Too bad if, like us, you don't take sugar or milk. No tea available. |Room was large with a balcony. No point in sitting on the balcony because it overlooked rundown buildings and unkempt gardens.|Bed was comfortable if you like a very soft mattress. |A sign by the bed said sheets changed every 3 days. Not sure if they change between guests.|We ordered fish for dinner. It wasn't fresh.|Very little selection for breakfast. Fried eggs had been put in a metal tray with no form of heating so were cold.|Coffee was like mud.|Most of the advertised attractions eg gondola ride and horse riding were not available. |There is a bridge across water that leads to a gate so you can leave the resort. Reception gave us a code to enter so we could come back in. There is nowhere to enter the code to get back in. Fortunately the gate is low and I was able to put my hand over and open it from the Verona side. If the gate is that low there is no point in having one because anyone can walk in.|I can't say the staff were unfriendly but they didn't go out of there way to make us feel welcome. |Overall appearance is that the place is very run down and needs a lot of maintenance.||To give a comparison the next night we stayed at another resort, not far away, which was only 300฿ more expensive and got the honeymoon suite with...

We just took pictures with the bridge in the background. Then while taking our time, thei inhouse photographers took a photo of us, then later presented us with the picture which was already in a frame. A good frame at that. So at 100 baht each, we got 3 pictures total so as not to make the 4-hr detour a total waste.
There seems to be a lot of activities to be done inside if they are open. There was even horseback riding and ATV. But this place is so far away. Only makes sense if you are already in the area. We came from Pak Chong/Khao Yai and made this detour going back to Bangkok and it was a little farther than what I had in mind. During the day you will see that the place is already run down. Might be better to go after dark.
If you are going the similar route, there is a nice reservoir with a bike lane and restaurants that you will pass by which may be good to make a stopover on a...
