Mango Spa & Resort — Hotel in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We opted to stay in the Hua Hin countryside this time as my husband wanted to play Black Mountain and Mango spa was only a few minutes drive away. We had a top floor room with a view over one of the pools to one side and the pineapple fields to the other. The room was clean with a good bed and the quiet location allowed for a good nights sleep between days of golf. The pools were great and the gym okay. We also played boules one evening. We didn’t get a chance to hit the tennis court. We rented a motorbike from the hotel (manual Honda wave, so much better than the usual automatic scooters that are the usually offered to us in Thailand) but since it rained quite a bit the free shuttle to town was a good extra. |Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but they offered to organise lunch and dinner delivery from a nearby restaurant if pre ordered a few hours before hand. |Would...

Looks nice in the pictures, but was totally understaffed and falling apart. When I arrived there was only one person working - she was the waitress, the cleaner, working the front desk and who knows what else. Needless to say, the service was terrible even though the girl doing all this was working as hard as she could. The room was a disaster - the AC was leaking on the bed and all over the night stand, the drain in the shower and the sink did not work and so water everywhere! Nobody available to help - I will NEVER go...

We had an amazing 4-nights stay. The resort is a real haven of peace. We loved walking in the beautiful gardens of the resort. The pools were very nice, as you swim in pure nature. Food in the restaurant of the resort was also very tasty and nicely prepared by the staff. All team members delivered great service. Rooms are on the old style, but totally comfortable.
