We stayed in this area before and while roaming around it, we came across Rocky Point Resort. So, for this time, we booked a poolside villa for two nights. |Bottom line: excellent decision! We came on a Sunday evening and literally had the whole place for ourselves for two days. Their busy days are Friday to Sunday, with lots of people from Bangkok coming down for a staycation. |It’s NOT a party place, it’s really for winding down and relaxing though I can imagine that at new year and songkran, the excitement will build up in a nice way at this place. |The ‘villa’ is basically a large bedroom (40+ sqm) with a covered outdoor sitting area adjacent to the pool - we loved the outdoor garden shower (of course, full privacy). ||The whole resort is super clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. ||The resort has bikes to rent / no helmets and no child seats. ||In front of the resort, the beach is rocky, stones everywhere, hence the name :) but less than 100 meter left/right you can find a very nice sandy beach with lots of space for games and with trees providing shade, if needed. ||Breakfast is classic Thai style: three warm dishes incl American breakfast option, toast with spreads, fruits, cornflakes, orange juice (pack not fresh), instant coffee (milk from cereals). ||The whole province of Prachtausgabe Kiri Khan has a lot to offer. It’s surprising to see how few tourists, in particular foreigners, stop here and enjoy this beautiful area. ||Highly...

Bungalows with a great view of the sea, among the trees and no crowds or no discos as you often encounter. Here you can enjoy the peace and the beautiful view. There is a nice swimming pool with sun loungers with cushions, a restaurant and there are also free bicycles. The beach in front of the resort is with stones (as the name implies), but at 200 meters there is a sandy beach. There is also a small shop there and a Thai restaurant. The bungalows look good and are spacious and have a spacious terrace. The bathroom is spacious and good. Our cottage also had an outdoor shower. There are indeed dogs that do not hurt a fly. (and I am not a hero) Enjoyed our stay, getting rid of the crowds, it was just a shock when we arrived at the next hotel of our tour. Minus points; The service is behind a cupboard in the restaurant and does not see when you want to ask something, order. I would have liked yogurt at the breakfast. And for the evening it would be much nicer to have dinner served in one of the garden pavilions with mood lighting instead of in the brightly lit restaurant. Conclusion; amazing, nicest room and view. We found it quiet at first but later on the trip Rocky point resort have often missed! Oh yes, I also saw a dance of the greater racket-tailed drongo. (Bird) Unfortunately we were unable to...

Pet friendly hotel, nice swimming pool, good sized rooms(Pet villa),rooms are comfy and very clean, nice veranda to sit, eat, drink and watch the ocean.Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed during our stay probably COVID related, but you can order drinks and they serve bfast. They give you a menu with phone numbers so you can order outside and get food delivered. The hotel is right next to the ocean in front of the rocky beach is paved way for walking, running.A lot of stray dogs zooming around,so be careful.Actually we enjoyed the stay, but the only downs are the stray dogs and between the villas it looks a bit like a construction site.If you like it quite and peaceful then this is the place to go

This is the place if you want peace and quiet. No noisy bars or nightlife. A typical Thai village with daily market is a short drive or r ide away. The resort itself is aging but has had recent upgrading. Rooms are clean and many with sea views. Although the beach at this resort is somewhat rocky, as the name would suggest, but a short walk away is a very long sandy beach stretching as far as the eye can see and mostly deserted. Wifi is free and good signal. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Free breakfast was OK but limited choice. They also accept pets within reason, up to 15kg. Free bike hire is included. I will return but I am over 60 and the place is exactly what I like.

This resort is so calm and peaceful and it's so worthy to stay here. The view of the ocean from the room is so amazing that we can rest and listen to the sound of sea all day and night. You can see a lot of stars in the night time. Very big bathroom with outdoor shower is super nice. They provide good enough breakfast but if you feel not so full, the small local stall at the alley entrance also provide great and cheap seafood. You can also get free bike to go around the area. Staffs are nice. Recommended ❤
