Sea & Sea Villa Resort Sangaroon — Hotel in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

This is our second visit to the hotel and things are going down hill very quickly. We stayed for 3 nights and during that time the rooms were not cleaned at all, which also meant no clean towels. I asked at reception every day about cleaning and was told they were too busy to do any cleaning. I asked about having clean towels and they said they did not understand what I wanted. There is a problem with ants as there is with most places in Thailand, so having a waste bin in the room that was not emptied, the ants were everywhere.We took our waste bin to a local bin in the area, not what we had expected to have to do. The problem is not enough staff working at the hotel, as this hotel allows people off the street to walk in and use the facilities, like beach beds for free so the beach area is packed in the day and staff are running around serving drinks and food to walk in people and then not able to clean the rooms of the people who pay to stay at the hotel. I wrote to the owner of the hotel on our return to give them a chance to respond but they declined to reply to us. So we get the impression they do not care, they have your money so why bother. There are many hotels in this area, and we visit this area very often as we live in Thailand, so we will be staying elsewhere in future. If you looking for a quiet beach, beautiful beachfront villas or rooms, this is the place. The rooms are spacious, well equiped and have the softest bed ever.There are swings and hammocks around the hotel so you can find your own private corner and chill. The pool is salt water and clean. The kids loved the beach,and it was clean. They have kayaking and surf board as well. There is not much place to go or do around but the hotel food was so tasty with reasonable price so we ate all our meals here.Fresh seafood is served and you can do your own barbecue. Rented a villa here for a week during the festive season. Generally, I have only positive things to write - staff friendly (authentically friendly), very helpful, accommodating and professional. Good English spoken, broken Thai listened to and (sometimes) understood ;-).

Good and affordable food - made with good quality ingredients, not too greasy or spicy, which often is the problem with local food.

I rented the upper part of a corner villa (C7). It came with a large roof terrace, balcony, separate (sort of - behind a sliding glass panel) bedroom, floor to ceiling windows and a small kitchenette. Spacious, bright and comfortable.
