To quote Earnest Hemingway, this is "a clean, well-lighted place." It is not too far from the airport and is good for an overnight stay. I will start at the beginning. In order to avail yourself of the free shuttle you will need a telephone that will allow to call them to pick you up. You will then have to go out to the curb and wait for them to arrive. On your way to the hotel you will notice that it is all industrial, car sales, and similar non-residential buildings. When you arrive you will see that it is in a small industrial strip mall. The driver will help with your bags. The check-in is fairly easy, and the folks at the counter are nice and speak good English. There is very little lobby to speak of and really no place to "hang out." From there you will have to go up at least two flights of stairs--there is no elevator! Businesses operate in and on the first two floors. They serve some food items, but we did not avail ourselves of the pay menu. They provide two bottles of water and a coffee machine. There is a refrigerator. For other food items there is a 7-11 right next door--less then ten feet away. The bed was comfortable, and the A/C blows really cold air! The bathroom consists of a toilet and a shower-head sticking out of the wall--the shower is not separated in any fashion so the bathroom gets quite wet. They do provide shower shoes. This is a basic, clean hotel. The people are helpful and friendly, and it has a free shuttle to and from the BKK airport. If you contact them ahead of time, they may be at the airport when you arrive, but I am not certain of this assertion. If you arrive not too late in the evening, pay 200 baht to take a taxi to the Rod Fai Market--check it out on Google or some other search engine. It is a neat place with lots of clean looking food booths, and the shopping and atmosphere is great. It helps to have a "Grab App" in order...
Read moreThese guys were great. Once I figured out how to call them from the airport, they arrived in 10 minutes (at 1am) after saying it would be 15. When we arrived at the hotel, I was a little worried because it was not visually appealing from the outside. The person at the front desk did not speak much English, but she did get us into connecting rooms. The rooms were large and nice looking and clean. The poor driver had to carry our heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs. ||||The next morning, they provided us with breakfast. I asked them if they could take us back to the airport so we could catch the Skytrain and they said it was better if we go to the station before the airport and took us there for free. It is a bit of a trek to downtown, but you can always take a taxi if you want.||||They were helpful getting all our baggage into a taxi when we left to go to Chaing Mai.||||Perfect for a short stay near...
Read moreWe were looking for a hotel that was close to the airport as we had a very early start in the morning. What we found was a complete gem, although I would advise getting a room at the back as the hotel sits on a busy road .. On entering the hotel we were met with a very friendly reception team who immediately took our bags to our room . The room is very spacious and spotlessly clean. Massive comfy bed , Fridge , Kettle and Bathroom / shower were all there ... There was a Pizza shop 2 mins walk away ( that was great too) and next to the hotel was a small Mini Market where we stocked up on some chocolate ... We spent a very comfortable night here and included in the price was transport to the airport and all that for 880 Baht I stayed in far worse large corporate hotels so Id would definitely recommend this one ... Made a horrible early start so much...
